finished this one, sorry for the delay, was having trouble with the duotone threshold on the lineart within opentoonz, but at the end the finish wasn't as good and was too much work to do it, so i found a another way to do it and faster with better results with gts, so that took me time because i didn't know the app 

1st time I'm trying the bnha anime alike style, so it may  have its issues but did the best i could

working on this commissioned illustration, will anime screen alike color this one, decided to fuse hori and the anime style to do it, so it doesn't look exactly as the anime style, once colored will be closer to the anime but still keeping the hori feeling... i hope hahaha

did a test fusing the background and the bodies as i did them in separate sheets

probably will fix some areas in the scanning phase

finished this 1st page (commissioned), took quite the time to finish because is the 2nd time i try this style, so im still not used to it, had to do and redo several times the coloring, mainly my problem is that i tend to add more detail than the needed one for a comic page, sorry for not posting lately, still an ongoing project, but probably will work on another project in between

finished inking, I'm still failing the inking a few mainly on how bold the lines are, lets go with this, but i think is far better than the previous illustration i did with this inking style

the background is rough because is just a guide that one will be lineless just color shapes

next one probably will be flat colors or the final one in a few days

noticed this style doesn't use any pen pressure at all and if is used is subtle and you have to train your hand to press softly when needed, wow curious way to do lineart

finished page1 detailed doodle i will proceed to ink, as this ink is pretty loose i will go directly with it and modify and add anything if needed, with this style practically color shapes is everything

finished this one, I'm noticing with this style that i must use like pretty clear bright-tones compared to the real value it may have, so now I'm having issues on how dark i must do the graytones and where, i did my best, also i still can't manage to do a more fine lineart still looking kinda bold, hope next page if i do it looks better

finished this one, 1st time trying the naruto style, anime screenshot style, did it with opentoonz not gonna lie but is way easier to use retas studio or clip studio than this one, but it gives a pretty professional look to it and you have better control with the schematic view, hard to learn tho

will share full sized later but won-t be that much difference as is anime screenshot style, but it looks bigger and cleaner only, the blur effect is a default to give the finish feeling

an apology for the lack of art lately been busy irl with life stuff, hopefully i will finish soon the 2 current art projects i have, will put on hold the persona one and will focus this weekend on the naruto one, hard part on that is the background

wish i could have more time to art, but been harder lately to find the time

finished inking, will start working on the color test, after that will finish it, tights will be darker but with a color gradient that-s why i didn't paint black

update, reduced slightly tae head size and moved both characters closer to the camera

lineart and color outline, will do test colors before i finish this, managed to get how opentoonz works, is way complex than core retas to use but has the similar flow, is like joining all core retas apps into 1 that's why is confusing and complex to get at the beginning

decided to go for a 4:3 format instead 16:9 for this one

question

you don't mind if i post wips as i advance?, they might be annoying in the notifications just to see the same work over and over again, or i better just post the whole thing once done and skip all these posts?
