finished testing the ink pen brush i will use, also added additional detail to guide better through the inking process, now is ready, also fixed the perspective and added background detail

after days of corrections i think this is the best i will do it, will proceed directly to inking as i already detailed the faces which are the ones that i need in the detailed sketch, so i can jump that step

sharing some ideas for the current project I'm working on, last one was the chosen one, also sharing some pose corrections, i did this doodles digitally to do them quickly as a base guide but this piece will be done traditionally sketch and inks and digitally colored, that's why it took me a little more time to share wips

fate go fanart illustration

finished this one, 1st time trying this style so is not as good, hopefully with time i will improve it, hard to when you have to follow commission rules, but will try to do some in the future for fun to practice the style better, i couldn't achieve that loose feeling on the brush strokes, they feel like too planned and not more with feelings than actual knowledge, also i overdid the detail another thing i disliked so much

anyway here the best i can do the style atm with my current skill...

local colors done and did the color and shading test already, i don't share because probably will change as i advance hope not but maybe, also some additional lineart and changed the leg position on the last frame, ready to add detail, this step will take some days to finish, next update will be the final one

finished the inking, well i honestly couldn't get the feeling i wanted let's see how it works with color, some lines will disappear in the color, also will add some speed lines after the color

ok finished detailing characters, after i finish the background lines i will go straight to inking this one, the issue i will have with this style is the way lineart is drawn is extremely simple and the lines are pretty loose but yet detailed because all the detail work is on the color but even the color is simple but with lot of shape thinking, also no use of square angles that much

i finished this illustration, honestly i don't like much how i did the style on this, and mainly because the lighting is totally different to what i had in mind, idk but the idea was not completely built on my mind for this coloring so i went for a neutral lighting experimenting, and also to practice the style too, was hard and i'm not happy with it

if you ever wonder how i plan a comic page usually is this, and i stare this screen for minutes, hours... or days haha till i have a clear idea of the composition, then i proceed to doodle, alongside a small script of course

ok, last try i will give to this illustration, i decided to remove the bed border out of the equation because it wasn't that good as i thought once colored (composition wise), the thing is that Brighid steals too much space and those upper and lower corners from the Morag side looks empty unbalancing the composition just a few, let's see if once i add the shadows which will be light it looks better, or i add some elements to balance things

working on this project "manga page", had lot of issues doing this one as the 2 chosen poses are not really suitable to be together, so i had to do several arrangements, added a few frames to balance composition

i share a rejected idea taking one pose out to do a single page for the main focus, and leaving the other for a 2nd page

flat local colors, i initially planned to do a kind of darkish lighting to this piece, but doing tests i think it doesn't fit, as they surrounded by bodies any light source will be blocked doing weird shadows here and there, so i decided to go for a neutral lighting from an upper light source same source as the camera

i think is the one that gives the exact amount of protagonist and light to both characters

modified brighid chest added missing guy hand also added a few more hair on the back of her head to give a more joined feeling, now is ready to add color, 1st will do a coloring test before applying local colors

finished this one, as i said i can only share this area and this resolution, hopefully i will do a full work of bnha canon characters later in the future

this character is hard to draw because giving her an expression is hard as hell haha
