Negative Inspiration

Some stuff I've managed to do despite my hands not having any sensation in them.

Struggling, but making stuff happen. Hard to type when you can't really feel half the keystrokes. Harder to draw when you have no sense of pen pressure either.

Continued Time Away

I hope everyone had a good holiday. I sadly did not. My body, but most importantly my hands are covered in red rash sores that make typing this incredibly painful, and holding my art pen impossible. 

Don't worry too much, I'm on medication. I've talked with a few doctors already. This is a relatively common virus in kids, and usually a non-issue in adults, but due to my badly damaged immune system, it has chosen to kick my ass.

Annual Christmas Illness.

Caught something that is making drawing extremely hard, thus I need to take a day or two off, plus holiday nonsense. Hopefully have some more stuff up in the not too distant future for you.

Game Dev Update

Spent a huge amount of time this week getting a "minigame" working where the player serves up food from the foodcart for some quick cash. 

At the end of it, you get ~30 if you're good, but only 10 if you make mistakes. It reflects how the customer service and food industry is an absolute trash fire and you will only do it once, for money, and never again if you can at all help it.

The first scene is in the building office, when the food cart lady says she needs a lighter, you can go ask the landlord to borrow hers. A scene is present there with 3 options (condom, no condom, and oral only).

This is part of a multi-stage quest, where you'd have helped another girl out, and had another scene with the landlord, however I let you skip that by having a debug burger to give her right by the counter.

Game Dev Stuff

So, I've posted a version that is mostly working. The regions shown are about 40% of the planned maps/areas. There's framework in place for all the major stuff. 

Tell me what you'd like to see in the game, and I'll see what I can do. There's not a whole lot of feature creep planned. Behind on things

Whoops. I've been hyper fixated on doing this stupid game and lost a LOT of time.

I will be working through the weekend on all outstanding items.

I hate being "one of those" creators that routinely falls behind and forgets stuff. I'll have them all out by early next week. And my sincere apologies again.

So, twitter really liked a half baked "What If" idea of making a VN style game, and I've been making it, and it's going to be the dumbest thing alive, but I'll make it.
