Dev Blog - Comics: Story and Coloring

Hello Everyone and welcome back to another Dev Blog. 

Recently I've been making a lot of Comic pages, 1 pagers, 2 pagers, and Odd Taxi that has 5 pages so far and still has a lot more to come, so I wanted to share with you my recent findings and what I've learned, because I had no experience with these before.

1. The Story

Bill has been requested a lot in the past, and he won the last poll (shared 1st place with Geld) so I did my best to draw something similar to the show involving his juicy butt and some underwear fetish.♥

I hope you liked it so far. To me it was a really good challenge to learn a completely new style from scratch and to make a more elaborate comic than my usual ones.

Next I'm gonna work on Mr Mays (plural) and after those I will start working on Chapter 2 and parallel some other stuff.

Hello Everyone, just a quick heads-up, Pg4 is done, but it connects to Pg5 too strongly, so I'll upload them together.♥

Here is a small preview, cuz I really loved this panel (I'm getting better with backgrounds).

Both Bill and Geld received 32 votes, which I guess was not a coincidence. :P

In the future we'll have a "sudden death" vote for such cases, but now I'll make an exception and declare both of them as winner. :)

PS: I'll go with "Geld" instead of "Gerd", because the anime is using that name too (tho I prefer Gerd :C)

Odd Taxi Test WIP

Started to scribble a bit today and I tried to make a colored panel as close to the original as possible. I used a bunch of references and took the colors from the show. I was a bit surprised that drawing with anime-style lines is not easier at all ^^ if anything, the fault tolerance is a lot smaller.

Hello Everyone and welcome back to another DevBlog!

This animation was by far my biggest project, and I've learned a lot about compositing (which I didn't even know it was a thing, usually I had very simple scenes before).

1. First I sketched the the idea, "Taurus Bulba getting milked". He is a bull, so a Milking Factory would be a nice idea, but I also wanted to have it on a farm, so for the background I planned a barn.

Greg's Biker Butt - SD

This is a practice animation, so it doesn't have a deeper meaning :)

I wanted to draw young Greg, but I had to alter his physics a bit, so only his shorts match now and his signature bubble butt. :D

Here are also some WIPs of the sketching process, which took most of the time, because it's a very new and difficult pose for me.

This was the first acceptable sketch (all in all about the 5th version already), with just 5 frames.

I never knew it's this difficult to draw a biker from this angle ^^

This is like the 5th version's 4th revision, but I'm kinda happy with this now. :D
