I Had To Go Home (Is It Over?)

Starting off with a short instalment in the series, to update you and make everything make sense for the future episodes to come. You get early access as a Patron, and a slightly extended edit (although it is a short video) so enjoy! Also, I chucked my old goals document I was talking about in the video if you want to take a look for yourself.

The Journey Begins Again (Sort of)

My final document arrived today. I have 2 more sleeps in this place, and then we're headed for Malaysia. I am sat here with a weird feeling. It feels surreal to be here finally after the past months and the short-term trip stalling, having to get documents and invest a crazy amount of money. I want this, but now it comes with a "now or never" feeling. If this doesn't work out, that's it. I am so fucking excited to see everything I'm gonna see, the hardships I'm going to face, the friends, con...

Right now we're waiting in purgatory

I hope everyone is having a fantastic year so far! I've been in the trenches sorting some things out for the greater journey (as you'll all find out soon).

Turns out that I didn't have some documents I needed to pass into other countries, so I've had to make a short trip back to old Blighty (that's England) to obtain these. Although I already had a Thai driver's license, it appears that the one I'm on is unsuitable for travel overseas (you need a 5-year license, not a 2-year).

How I Crossed The Infamous Laos Border With A Thai Motorcycle

So, some of you in the motorcycle community will know that crossing borders from Thailand to Laos, Cambodia to Laos etc. can be fairly tricky if you don't know what you're doing. There are a lot of scams people fall for, and fake companies that provide services which are completely unnecessary. Additionally, most of the information you'll find online from other articles, or blogs is completely wrong and people just pay the bribe to get across and tell it like it's the truth. This is all wrong...

Vietnam is complete 🫡 - What's next?

Well as I sit here and contemplate everything this journey has entailed from a rooftop coffee shop in the bustling streets of Hanoi, I feel blessed to have been able to have the nerve and bravery to complete such a task.

3600kms from Bangkok, all the way through the rainy season in Vietnam is no easy task.

I am not quite sure how I feel about it all yet. There have been major highs and major lows that I have experienced before, but none other like those wet moments, soaked through...

Vietnam Update

What a wild adventure it has been so far! The ups and downs have been incredibly high and low. I have done things I've never done in my life before, camped in jungles, on the side of the road, and been blessed by the kindness of pure strangers.

One night I was caught camping, and the man who caught me took me to meet his entire family, bought me coffee, then gave me instant noodles and refused my offers for money. I am forever grateful for the people I've met on the way and the kindnes...

Regaining sight of what's important & little update

Couple days spent here in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) meeting with one of my good friends. I met him on the road just as we started this journey (you'll see it in the 1st episode).

Spent a few days here getting things sorted with the bike, after travelling 1300kms with it, it started to have a few issues with the spokes (about 9 broke on the way). Got it fixed up at a proper shop and some new tyres for more off-road conditions.

After smashing out 120kms+/day I was losing sight of why I ...
