I am unfortunately drawing from experience on this one, I've been on both ends of this interaction and it's never fun.

I'm just now looking back and realizing I've been wanting to do this little one-off gag strip for easily more than a year. Outclassed and then the Miles meets Zoomer arc kind of took over my Saturday schedule since last October. Oh well, I actually get to do it now.

And I came up with another fun gag to go with this but it'll have to wait until next week.

Part of why I extended this for one comic is that I wanted to tie up the dangling spanking in public plot thread (which is a sentence I can't believe I just wrote) so here we are. I feel a little constrained by the 4 panel format here, I could have used an anticipation panel before the slap but I'd rather show Boomer and Zoomer hugging to be honest.

Some people might find it weird that Boomer is shirtless on this scene. I don't know, shirtless dads is kind of a staple of Argentine barbe...

I had the first 8 strips of this arc written more or less on one go a couple months ago (though I had planned this little 'arc' of sorts for a long while now) but I hadn't exactly figured out how to finish it and whoops looks like one strip wasn't enough, a 10 parter it is.

The third panel for this page was a pain in the ass because it would benefit a lot from Miles sitting to the right of Zoomer so we see the phone first and then Miles' reaction, but unfortunately Miles' lines all come...

Last October I did a drawpoll to commemorate the one year anniversary of this Patreon, taking all the runner-up options throughout the year and running a poll just for them to give them another chance.

I think I'll save October for spoopy-themed drawpolls and do the anniversary one a little early. And since I've been doing two drawpolls per month starting in May, I'll be doing the first half of runner-ups now, and the second half later in September.
