Same with Illustration, sometimes animation needs to get a complete do over, even when nearing it's finished state. In this case, as I was getting closer to the finish, I noticed something wrong with the movements of the breasts, the head and body. I tried fixing, but it seemed to do more harm than good. So it needed to start over from the sketch. As it's often the case, it goes much smoother the second time around, since you know what to expect and you're ready for it.

Arcanis Change WIP

Animation usually take a long time to make, after all, unlike illustrations, if you make a mistake early on, you need to go back and adjust everything from scratch. In this case, I tried going for boxy shapes to test the motion since it's easier to rotate boxes than bodies, but the translation was not on par. So I had to make multiple readjustments for the final product. Since it was fairly early, it was manageable. If it was later, say, on colors, I'd ditch the color and go back to the lines...

I got near the finish on this Illustration when I decided to nope it out and start over. That's right, at the end, decided it wasn't working, scrapped the whole thing and started from scratch. And I'm glad I did.

Carmelita Day WIP

This took some time in the fridge for Carmelita day, as was asked. y the time I got back, I had to chance the pose, since it was controrted in a strange way, and took off the hand to make my life a bit easier. Then I proceeded as normal, Struggling more with the consistency, had to make lots of  little tweaks and fixes here and there. I'm glad on how it came out in the end.

This was very simple and straightforward, a breath of fresh air from the last illustration. There was supposed to be a broom on the side she was supposed to be holding, but I've decided to make a regular locker room that could possibly fit two people into. To show it was a locker with minimal shapes as possible was tricky, but those have the 3 hole thingy that worked nicely.

This Sketch had a slightly different approach to shadows, where I put down the celshade, then blended the necessary edges. It was very fun to make, it's simple to render the shapes.
