From the very start since its June 2023 redesign, Chevy has had a detachable stomach as part of its reference. We never really thought about what that could be used for beyond just thinking it was a little funny, but when we were working on the model for it an amount of inspiration struck.

Outside of our usual realm of work, but what can we say. we were in a mood.

Update on things

Hi everyone! We kinda went on an internet break very suddenly and we hope people don't mind. It was a very spur of the moment decision but one we do feel was necessary for the moment.

Long story short, medications are being switched and more serious treatment efforts for hand pain are being made, and both are creating circumstances where we're in a pretty rough state mentally, so we figure we're best off spending that time focusing on ourselves and our work.

Chevy Model 1st WIP [ exp. ⚠️ ]

Done a few passes on most of the separate pieces and got a translucent material were happy with. (All other materials are very temporary) Focusing on the important places first, of course.

Hand is finally recovering better with a more ergonomic setup at work, and forcing ourselves to draw at our proper desk and stand instead of our knees lying backwards in a chair.

Lost & Found # 3 - Alien ( feet/paws )

A ref for a character we made and did 1 doodle of and promptly never drew again. For no other reason than we forgor. If there’s a fella that we definitely want to bring back it’s this one.

We never posted these because we wanted to polish up the ref a little bit more but never got around to it.

Once again, Liliko downed one of the most potent growth potions in Sesame’s collection. He’s probably looking for aer after noticing the disturbed bottles and loose cork, but thankfully ae is very easy to find: just look out a window.

quick doodle over an old trip photo with fairly lazy shading. Drawing over a photo is like cheating for our hand right now because we get bad ass macro angles without having to do any backgrounds.

Lost and Found #2 - tongue [ macro , implied vore ]

A few tongue arts we had made and forgot about?? a new one from june and an old one from april 2023. Liliko dragon’s long tongue hasn’t gone anywhere with the new design, good news.

small doodle to see how our hand is doing and because mouse drawing hasnt been going as well as hoped (we’ve been in a rough state mentally and feeling limited in our creative output has been doing us no favors ) Ended up being hybrid between main and off hand to give it frequent breaks. Still taking things very easy, we promise.

Another thing while on hand drawing break. We have a lot of old art we don’t finish or post for one reason or another. We were going through old canvases and found a bunch of it and figured we might as well post the ones we know we’ll never return to now, maybe with some amount of explanation as to why they were previously left unfinished?

a big part of our interest in robot paws specifically is the variety of textures and materials at play. There could be a soft cushion at the pads, sure, but perhaps it’s surrounded by solid plastic or metal? There is a pleasant satisfaction to the idea of exploring along the uniquely shaped curves and edges, and the different levels of softness and smoothness. This is specifically what made us get a foot paw kink, to be honest.

hello! we regret to inform everyone that we accidentally pushed our hand too hard while working on the animation, and need to take a break from serious drawing for a while (currently uncertain how long but definitely at least 2 weeks)

we wont be completely gone, we can still do off hand drawings and other things that dont involve our main hand, but we wont be doing any serious hand-drawn art and both this months liliko dragon update and the vore day animation will need to be delayed…<...

We so rarely draw CV, we feel like nobody looking at our art would get much of an impression that we like it at all. (its also been so long since we last did one we also struggled a bit with it)

wed say we would draw more of it, but its easy to forget when its a more specific and only occasional interest of ours, but when it hits it hits hard lol.

weve been working on the liliko dragon update to start things out. it should be very soon.

We will be a little slow starting out as were giving our hands a bit of a rest still to avoid hand pains, but were excited to get back into things again!
