Progress report on v0.32

Hey!
Hope you're all doing well!
I'm making steady progress towards the next release. Still quite a lot of work to do but I would say the hardest and the most time-consuming part is done.

The image above is from a custom animated scene which will be featured in the upcoming version - personally, I like lesbian ero scenes and there will be quite a few of them in SotV!
I know some of you enjoy them as well and for those who don't... well, MC +gi...

20 Power bug!

Hello!
I got reports from a few players about a weird bug which locks out the progress.

They somehow get to 20 Power before Zoe's repeatable events(which shouldnt be possible) and then apparently, after the scene with Alicia, Rebecca and Amelie in the cell it doesn't progress the main story further.

I tried to recreate it myself but I can't seem to do it.

Hey!
We're moving steadily towards the next release.
The 0.3 was a bit problematic due to different way of triggering events than previous versions but in the end it was a good change which will make it easier for me to implement scenes.

Like I said, we're getting into more interesting parts of the story where different characters will interact more and more witch each other. There will also be some new revelations when it comes to the source of MC's powers!

The work continues...

Hey!
Hope you're looking forward to the next release because work is already underway^^
The 0.32 will be similar in volume to the 0.3b so it should be satisfying amount of content.

The main story will move forward a bit and we're at a point where different characters will interact with each other more and more - their subplots will start to intertwine so it should be interesting for those who enjoy this project for more than just h-scenes :)

Hello!
I was trying my best to give you the release on the 19th but alas it wasn't meant to be.
Mainly 2 reasons:
- it turned out bigger than usual with 8 scenes total, a rework of a Mark feature, a completely custom made spanking animation and more...
- the real life stuff aka regular job has been exhausting lately

Anyway, the final and 99,9% certain release date is 21st of February(Tuesday)

The work is going as planned and I'm really excited for the next release... I hope you are too ^^

I know at least one patron looks forward to this scene :) It's animated with a Timeline plugin(a tool for making custom animations) and its my first, serious attempt with it but the result seems reasonably decent.

The next update will be also slightly bigger(5 h-scenes, 3 story scenes) so please don't panic if the release doesn't drop exactly in the middle of February....

It's been some time since the release of 0.28 and much has been done already for the next(0.3) release.

What can you expect in 0.3:

- reworked Mark system: 3 different effects tied to specific colors/buttons
- 2 story events, fleshing out older characters(Xilana) and introducing new major factions(Inquisition and Slavers).
- continuation of Zoe's training. She will have several multi-stage scenes, similarly to Rebecca.
- a few h-events with minor/episodic charact...

Bugfixes and plans for the future

Hey!
I got some interesting feedback regarding the new feature and ways how to improve and expand the idea.

Some people didn't like how there was no info on what pressing the button will actually do and... I think that's a valid criticism. After all, it is meant to give players greater degree of control of the event.

So what's the solution? How about different effects tied to specific Marks(buttons)?
For now, lets go with 3 options:

A couple of things:
1. It warms my heart that so many people like the feisty female Wraith!
Faeryl is definitely one of my favourite girls in the game - many, many hours were spent in CharaMaker... every part of her body, clothing, accessory and even skin shaders were specifically made the way they are.

Here's the newest release. It's a bit updated compared to the one I uploaded a week ago, no new actual content but I added a neat little QoL feature - basically a non-intrusive warning/info will show up just before the Mark is about to disappear(you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it).

Hey,
I'm done with visual and coding part of the update. I did some tests on possible uses of the new feature and I like the possibilites it opens up for exciting scenarios.

Like I said, this update will be roughly the same size as previous ones and will have "remastered" prologue and new feature on top of that!

It will have a healthy mix of erotic and story content, 2 scenes featuring new, interactive button and also both scenes from the kink poll made it to this release ^^<...

I've been talking a few times how shaders, textures, body overlays, lights etc. are getting tweaked and improved as I'm getting more and more proficient in using CharaStudio and CharaMaker.

I'm gradually replacing some CGs and animations from prologue which I felt were lagging too far behind in terms quality, compared to newer visuals.

Of course, new content is the priority and the upcoming release will be usual size.

Gonna keep it short. Work on the next update is going well, even though there were some quite difficult scenes to make.

Story to h-scene content ratio is going to be about 50/50 in the next release.
What can you expect?
- 3-4 h-scenes, at least 1 animated and at least 1 including the new feature I talked about in one of the previous posts.
- some major and hopefully exciting story progression

Character sneak peak - Wight King

Hey,
Working on that next release and it's been productive week so far. It's time to push the main story a bit further which means I had to finally create this guy - a foe who is NOT a pretty girl, who cannot be mind controlled and will be a major threat to our protagonist.

I spent a lot of time on this one, hopefully it was worth it ^^

Don't worry, there will be plenty of sexy girls to dominate but I feel like a decent story and characters enhance the erotic scenes.

Getting some work done when I have the chance. Believe it or not, the planning phase is one of the most difficult and fortunately it's almost done.

Also, I've been testing the new feature I wanted to add and it's working great.
Dunno if that's the best way to code it but hey, it does work and will be used for many h-scenes.

Quick info on v0.25

Hello,
I was really hoping for an October release but alas it wasn't meant to be due to various reasons which I'm not gonna talk about.

The important piece of information is - the 0.25 drops... tomorrow! Yay!

What can you expect:
- 3 completely new h-events, each with a different girl.

Hey,
Just a quick reminder that I'm not dead and neither is the game. We're getting close to the next release - no exact date but it's gonna be about a week from now on.

The content of 0.25:

- 3 new characters
- 4 h-scenes, 2 animated
- new type of mind control power

Also, I've been planning and working on a map of the city which was mentioned in one of the previous posts. If everything goes well, it will be implemented in the subsequent release....

I was able to return to my usual pace and got some decent work done, especially during weekend ^^

I'm almost finished with the graphical part of the update(creating/designing new locations, characters, renders and animations).
Hopefully you're just as excited as I am for the upcoming release!

Btw, the scene from the screenshot is animated - imo it turned out quite well :)
