I know updates have been slow lately but I've hit a bit of a block with it D:

I always find it hard to get a chapter going. Just to reassure that I will get back to regular updates and try to do a bit of extra catching up too.

Its not that I don't know what's coming its more that I BLOCK on the panel arrangement and they end up boring or stagnant and I reuse the same pattern which I try to avoid (even if 3 in a row are my fave to do)

It was mostly deciding what opacity I wanted the texture at. I initially liked it at 76% but when I added the glow the 86% and 100% became my faves

SAI and PSD are attached if you want to have a look at the layers.

The two base layers were the skin and the hair and then I just built the clipping layers on top of each

Tips:

When I'm using the textures I often like to desaturate them so they're grey or mess with the colours till they're more of a sepia - just because they're one colour to start doesn't mean you have to stick to it.

You can also mess with the opacity to give a softer texture
