I'm imagining this is during Proms pregnancy with Luce and as if his hormones arent bad enough hes also dealing with the gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia of how he looks. He's always struggled with his weight and confidence so having ot actively gain would also be a struggle not to MENTION ON TOP OF ALL THAT, he's lost Noct.
