I've been slowly reducing the colours each page to make this page almost monochromatic, for the climax/Julien getting kinda overwhelmed. I also tried to have the rain kinda falling + filling up the bottom panel, both because it looks cool and also as a metaphor for anxiety, albeit a kinda cliche one!

I'm gradually reducing the number of colours + amping the contrast in these pages for ~drama~
I also figured pointier angled text bubbles would be interesting and lead the eye differently!

At first I was so sure I'd screwed up the colours (read:90% of my paintings) but I screwed around with it a bit and it turned out alright! I think lightening up the blanket made it a bit less of an eyesore.
