Refsheet Commission

FInished Refsheet commission!  This one was a doozy, as it was a fairly complicated design and the client seemed a little unsure what direction they wanted to take their character, but after much back and forth we finished the refsheet and just in time for Christmas! 

House Cat - Victor

Sorry for the delay, here are the pictures of the completed house cat commission, whose name is Victor! This cutie will be debuting at Furnal Equinox in March! Included with the suit is an NFC enabled badge so they can quickly grab their refsheet while shopping in the den without having to take their suit off.

I've got the bodysuit more or less done, it just needs the tail attachment and a few minor adjustments. As such I've benched it for now and am starting on the head. I've got the base ready to fur and with it the hood sewn up but not attached, along with the beginning stages of the ears.

Got the lining for the headbase sewn and am working on gluing it down. Also did up some eyes and printed a badge for the client.

Almost done the bodysuit! I know it doesn't look like much being inside out and unstuffed but trust the process!

Anyways, all that's left is to buy an appropriately side zipper, and I can sew the lining down and do a test stuff. Once I'm satisfied I'll attach the tail and the body will be officially done. Stay tuned for more!

Work has been a little slow the past few days as I've come down with some kind of bug so I've been taking it easy. But I can't lounge around forever so I did some work on the suit.

Got the torso of the suit completely finished. I aso tried something new with the sleeve cuff by lining it with minky. This will hopefully preventing the sleeves from stretching out while also preventing the sleeves from sliding off the handpaws. That's the hope anyways, only time will tell!

Starting off our next commission by making the tail! This commission is super simple as it's just three colours with VERY simple markings, so this suit should get made pretty quickly.

November Monthly Tutorial/Pattern - Making a Zipper Tail

This base is almoooost done printing and should finish overnight and we'll be ready to start our next commission. As a side note I was thinking of redirecting this month's monthly tutorial/pattern from wickerbeast handpaws to making LED eyes as I figured that might benefit more people. Thoughts?

We finished up the tail for the Wickerbeast, and added removable eyelids and tongues to the headbase. Since we're awaiting a replacement DTD from the client we'll be placing their commission temporarily on hold and get started on our next commission which will be a house cat.

Wickerbeast Wip

We finished two sets of handpaws for the wickerbeast. We made a second as we weren't happy with the size/shape of the claws, we had felt the first set was too hoof-like. As such only one set will be going home to the customer the other we'll sell at FE . :)

We might make a tutorial for these handpaws should that interest people! Let us know what you guys want us to make for this month's monthly tutorial/pattern.
