ps: delighted to share the news that I have now agreed two more shoots in July with Nicola - weather permitting we’ll do a beach shoot down south at the start of the month followed by a shoot in my home studio.  We have also agreed on dates for our Cyprus trip in October. This will be just after Anna.

Breaking: another FPI!

Only created just over two weeks ago in Cyprus with Ashley Ashton at White Stones, this is now my 35th FPI, my third with Ashley and the second from our Cyprus trip.  I can’t help it but FPIs continue motivate me, even without thinking of the indirect benefits they bring to my photography, eg more and better models wanting to work with me.

Bonjour, bonjour

I couldn’t really miss the opportunity to do a little street shoot in Paris, could I? A pretty girl in the streets of Paris, très bon! Excuse my French 😆 

These were shot at Place Vendôme, just round the corner from my hote, late afternoon, exactly two weeks ago. I just received them from my retoucher.  Perfect for a public access post.

The soft natural light makes Anna look even prettier.  What do you think? 

Lovely shoot yesterday with Bambii eyes

It was only a one hour shoot in London but, hey, we smashed it. By the end of it, we had 60 images we both loved, with three different lingerie outfits.

I am sure you have noticed that I have been posting quite a lot from my shoots in Cyprus with Ashley this month. Even so, there is still more to come!  its mostly videos now but even stills, I have had 100 images edited and haven’t yet posted all of them.  Now it’s getting harder to find what I have and what I haven’t posted but I believe I have it posted the ones in this post, although I did post some of Ashley in this black lingerie set. Soft and sensual in Paris

I really do love these images with Anna!  It’s the softness and sensuality in them I suppose.  Anna’s style is indeed soft and subtly erotic - and a perfect complement to the boudoir setting and the Parisian balcony that‘s also the only source of natural light in these pics.

I’m really pleased that the hotel room worked so well not least because I spent ages trying to find one that would work for shoots, that’s not horrendously expensive.  It did set me back 340...

Yey, another FPI with Athena!

So nice to wake up to another FPI this morning!  It’s actually my second with Athena Rose this week! And my fifth overall with her - out of my now 34 FPIs.

Another Image of the Day win!

Nice way to start the weekend! It’s an image from the very first day of shoots in Cyprus with Ashley.  in fact it was probably soon after we started shooting on that day as the info says 15:01 (Uk time).  We started shooting late afternoon as we were both tired from travelling on Sunday.  It didn’t help our flight was delayed by three hours.  Ashley doesn’t look at all tired though, does she?

Cyprus photography holiday/workshop with Anna Chumakova in October

I’m really excited to share with you the news that I have booked Anna Chumakova for a photography holiday in Cyprus.  Flights are already booked as is the usual Aphrodite Hills villa during 1-6 October, after which we’ll head to Limassol for a couple of days.  I’m basing this holiday around Anna as she’s a very popular model - if more than two photographers join us, I’ll book a second  model.  The maximum number of photographers is four.

Voyeurism - Which edit do you prefer?

Am I fixated about FPIs?

First the good news. Woke up to another FPI this morning, my 33rd. It’s an image featuring Athena Rose at White Stones created during Athena’s first trip to Cyprus. It was shot on 20 October 2021 and retouched by Alexander Fess at the beginning of this year.  It was posted on Purpleport a couple of months ago.  It’s my fourth FPI with Athena - all from that very same shoot at White Stones!

Underwater mermaid

Another treat for my all access patrons, this underwater video of Ashley au naturel in the villa swimming pool.  I left the sounds of the water for the first two clips and then added music to the third clip, which is slow motion.  Do let me know what you think (I’m not just saying this you know, I‘m keen to have your feedback to offer you what you most like and also to plan what I’m shooting in the weeks and months ahead).

Yippee 🙌 - FPI from last week's Cyprus shoots

It’s so good when you get one of these so soon after you posted the image. There’s so many FPIs in the queue, sometimes you can wait for months for yours to appear. Kind of suggests this one stood out, which is always a big compliment when you see how high the standard of FPIs usually is.

Vintage Anna

It‘s just a vintage filter guys but it does make the video look so different. Let me know which of the two versions you prefer. As I’m starting to use all the advanced features on Power Director,  video editing is actually becoming more fun but I wish I could use my Apple Music instead of the very limited videos on this app.

La vie Parisienne

Anna Venice looking as sensual as ever in this video that progresses from Instagram safe to art nude by the balcony of the hotel room I was staying in Paris.  The softness of the natural light from the window, the darkness of the room and Anna’s slow moves create a sensual atmosphere that shows off Anna’s skin tones nicely.

The black Tangaland micro bikini

Micro, as you may know, is a Greek word that means small.  

But this bikini didn’t just look small, it looked tiny and Ashley was pretty sure it would be far too small for her.  I gently suggested she tries it on as it is a stretchy fabric and she agreed, although she remained sceptical.  As soon as she put it on, she changed her mind. It may be the shortest, but it could also be the sweetest, all that Dina says is “my name Dina”. After that she started laughing and said she couldn’t do it - her English is really poor, so I didn’t want to put any pressure on the poor girl. I find making behind the scenes videos, especially outdoors, very challenging. The reason is that I always move around the model a lot in order to get nice angles. As a result,  more often than not, my behind the scenes video has a lot of my back or me popping in and out, ruining the view of a beautiful model.  Which takes time to address by deleting parts of the video and joining bits together.
