Yippee another FPI

Amazing what old doors can do to a composition, especially if your model is someone like Tanya modele who always thinks of a suitable outfit and poses without any inhibitions.  The door belonged to a derelict house opposite our hotel in Limassol - Tanya should also get the credit for spotting it. I was a little reluctant to enter but  the temptation of crewting a good picture won the date, over various legal and physical risks that shall remain unnamed.

Just loved this image and wanted to show it to my all access first before I post it on Purpleport - hoping for another FPI.  I’ll add a few more from todays shoot with Grace later today or tomorrow. 

Ps: The weather this morning was perfect -  were Planning to do white stones yesterday but it was cloudy and windy. in the afternoon it rained and that cleared the atmosphere. No two days are the same there…

Another Image of the Day on Model Folio

 Delighted to share the news that I won Image of the Day on Model Folio for a second day in a row, this time with an art nude image shot at Cavo Greco in Cyprus, featuring Luci and Athena on a rock.  This was Athena’s first ever nude shoot, and I’m a delighted that she’s rewarded like this!

Image of the Day on Model Folio

It’s really nice to win an IOTD just three days after the image was created, you may remember I posted it here first on Monday as the one that stood out for me from Sundays shoot with Amber.  The image received 22 votes and the runner up 19.  Not bad at all!

Aphrodite hills pool shoot

One of the many advantages of shooting in Cyprus in low season is that you can often have a shared pool to yourself. This one was at Aphrodite hills - we shot late afternoon and the reflections from the soft light were amazing.  Watch this space for more!

Amber and a Lamborghini - 3 edits

Yesterday I did a luxury car shoot in Paphos with Amber.  it was a commercial shoot for which we both got paid - nice change - and we have the right to use the images for our own purposes.  This is one that stood out for me, and I had it edited by two different people.  So I’d love to hear your views about which edit is the best.  I have also included the original, which is the least cropped one.   Please let me know!  

Only created yesterday

Amber arrived in Cyprus late on Saturday. Yesterday we had our first shoot at Aphrodite Hills, a cheeky lingerie shoot with Amber in stockings and suspenders and sheer bra and thong,  all from Honey Birdette.   This image stood out so I had it professionally edited the same day.  Watch this space for more in the coming days.

Costa coffee shoot 😆

Once again I shall say very little - even the title of this post is intended to not attract attention that it was Athena’s first ever nude shoot.  I hope that that Costa coffee straw doesn't spoil your enjoyment too much 😆

Behind the net curtains

I loved these voyer-style images from yesterdays shoot with Tania, using the net curtain in our apartment. From the moment I saw them in my viewfinder I thought I had something new and original. a girl behind the net curtain - can passers by see her or not?  What do you think of them?

With all the shooting in Cyprus, my retoucher has fallen a little behind with all the editing but can you imagine what would have happened if I had to do this myself? I’d rather do more shoots and less editing as I love the human interaction and hate suffering from eye strain.  In any case, he’s much better than me.

You‘ll no doubt be pleased to hear that he is now finishing retouching Athena’s nudes and I will include all of those in an all access post on 1st May - a nice ...

Limassol street shoot

You may wonder why the streets of Limassol look so empty!  It was Easter Sunday…traditionally at Greek Easter families get together and stay in. It was the ideal opportunity and didn’t want to miss it, although I was told off by my younger  brother for  leaving early during the family gathering.  

I think Tania looks gorgeous and in her element.  After all she’s half Cypriot.  What do you think?

Edited versus unedited images

I really value my patrons feedback. Unless I know what you want to see, it’s largely guesswork what I post.  Please help me to help you!

Recently I have largely posted images that have been professionally retouched. I would love to know if you want to see more unedited images from my shoots.

Yippee another FPI today

I’m delighted to let you know that I’ve won my 26th FPI this morning - the email arrived just as I was getting ready to leave for another shoot with Tania Aresti.  It is the art nude image of Luci De Argento posing nude on a tree on the east coast of Cyprus.  Much of the credit is hers as it was her idea to climb that tree - her sole was in fact injured as a result - a brave model risking her safety for a good pic! Interview with Tania Aresti

This morning I did a fantastic video interview of Tania Aresti - my patrons will be able to watch it later this evening. 

It went so well that I’m now thinking of doing it with all the other models I work with.

Sunrise shoot at White Stones with Tania

Tuesday 26 April was the third day of my shoots in Cyprus with Tania.  We planned a sunrise shoot at White Stones so we got up at 4.30am - that’s only part of the commitment needed to get good images there.  The other part is braving the cold, as sunrise there is pretty cold, even in summer because of the sea breeze.   The thermometer said it was 14 degrees Celsius but it did feel freezing at 6am.  Tania had to wear my Leicester City hoodie to keep warm!  

Sunrise nude shoot at White Stones - updated

An early release for my all access patrons, the first art nude images from yesterday‘s sunrise shoot at White Stones with Tania.  We chose to do something slightly different from my previous shoots there - with Tania showing off her beautiful body standing up rather than lying down as was the case with Athena and Tanya modele.

Three edits of a beautiful image - which one do you prefer?

The second day with Tania in Cyprus happened to be Easter Monday.  Unlike like Easter Sunday, which is very much like Christmas in the U.K. with everything closed and people inside homes with family, on Easter Monday people go out.  As the weather was hot, the crowds hit the beach.  So instead of wasting time to try and find a beach without people, we chose to shoot indoors. Fresh from my Canon video camera - this was filmed only yesterday morning in the Airbnb apartment in Limassol.  Thee idea was for the shower video was entirely hers although the second part where she applies moisturiser on her beautiful body was entirely mine.  Almost like reality TV!  Another reason why I love my Cyprus photography holiday…

Easter Day in Cyprus with Tania
