Another memorable highlight from my photography holidays in Dubai with the delectable Jasmine High was the boat trip on 12 January. (How was the weather like on that day in the UK? In the rest of Europe? Sorry, I couldn’t resist that!)

Just a little desert traffic… only to show you the challenges of shooting in the desert. we had to plan carefully, book a private driver and avoid the crowds. At the sunset spot, where we shot, you simply couldn’t avoid crowds.

Chasing beauty with my camera, that’s what my photography is all about!
A stunning location in the Dubai desert, perfect for watching the sunset and a beautiful young model looking very elegant in her golden dress, appropriately chosen for the occasion.
As this is a popular tourist spot, in a country that’s not known to be tolerant with nudity in public places, the dress was a must.

Jasmine loved the desert, she really loved every minute of it, including the fast bumpy ride in the 4x4, and I believe it does show in these images, hence my title.
This was our second stop during the desert trip, I wanted to take in some dunes with undisturbed sun, but that wasn’t easy as there were already two days of good weather and many trucks and tourists have stepped over the sand. This was fun but it took some planning and expense to get it right. It had to be a private tour with just us and a driver who knows the desert and an appropriate desert vehicle. It was hard to get this across to the tour salesperson, who want to sell the same package to everyone. How could we not want a barbecue in a tent in the the desert (with dozens of other tourists)?

Jasmine and I arrived in Dubai early morning on Sunday 9 January, the day of my ??rd birthday.
I wasn’t planning to do any shoots on that day as we were both tired from the overnight flight but having a genuine passion for photography I couldn’t resist the temptation to capture the magic of our new destination.

Another treat for my patrons! After all my frustration trying to upload even three minute videos on Vimeo I managed to upload a five minute one! How did I do it? I installed the Vimeo app on my iPad. It worked! Clearly there‘s some incompatibility with apple software and the Vimeo website. The app is the way to do it. Happy days!

This was such a risqué affair! Timing was everything. i wanted to shoot Aphrodite (Tanya) worshipping Apollo in the nude at Apollo sanctuary. Only the sanctuary is an official archaeological site that tends to attract a lot of tourists. So timing was everything. And we did get it right. This was one of my most memorable shoots of 2021. My original idea was to do this at Aphrodite’s Rock, which is a spectacular location but the place was so crowded although it was 5 November. Here are the first edited images from yesterday‘s shoot. In our first scene Gigi was in her blue lingerie set, black stockings and heels opening her New Year presents. She got a little tired and hot in the end and she had to sit back and started taking off her lingerie…to be continued.

October was equally amazing for my photography, as I spent the second half of the month in Cyprus, and had two gorgeous British models visiting me.
