Caitlyn - art nude on the roof

This was the first set of art nudes I shot with Caitlyn and they were created on the first day of shooting together in Cyprus - the 7th of November.

The setting was very much Caitlyn’s idea - she noticed the shadows created by the sun on the white wall just after our pool shoot (which got us the FPI) and suggested a nude shoot there and then. Our agreement was that she would suggest the locations where she felt comfortable to shoot fully nude - I was pleased that this was one of them ...

Dharma & Emily on the pebble beach

This started as a micro bikini shoot but the girls were more interested in each other than showing off their micro bikinis so it quickly progressed to a full nude, girl-girl, shoot.

As a result, I hardly have any decent micro bikini images for Tangaland, that supplied the sexy matching swimwear.

Topless and nude duo - Beth and Tania

It started as a micro bikini shoot around the pool and quickly progressed to topless and nude. It was the first time they shot together but they got on really well. Shot on 3rd November at Cape Serenity, Ayia Napa, during this year’s Wanderlust getaways photography holiday. With strong sunlight, I was able to use a high aperture (f11.0) to keep both models in pin sharp focus.

Just received these two versions of the same image with Caitlyn earlier today from my retoucher, the only difference being the rock in the background. Which of the two do you prefer?

Nude at the doorway - Caitlyn and Meg

Two beautiful red heads posing elegantly fully nude at the doorway of my bedroom - what’s the story here? They both thought there was one although they never told me! What do you think?

Struggling with low light in these ones, so the ISO was quite high (3200-4000) as I didn’t want to go below f5.6 as that would have meant one model would have been out of focus. With hindsight I should have used more lighting. The Hobolight would have helped.

Red heels and a cuppa - Emily

Cheeky on the balcony - Ellie Mae

Ellie on the balcony first in lingerie and then in a sexy sheer black dress with nothing underneath, showing off her beautiful natural boobs.

The light was pretty harsh, though, and, with hindsight, could have used a reflector to eliminate the shadows but I had no assistant on the day…that’s why I kept the number of retouched images from these two sets to a minimum. I don’t think these images would win me any awards, frankly, but they’re still sexy enough to share.

Yippee - my 90th FPI just landed!

I am delighted to share the news that I have just been awarded my 90th Front Page Image (FPI) on Purpleport - it feels like an important milestone for my photography.

Appropriately, it is an image with Ellie Mae in the role of Aphrodite at Aphrodite’s beach. As many of you know, my photography is inspired by the Goddess of love and beauty, who, according to Greek mythology, was born out of the foam of the sea at more or less that spot.
