Another truly awesome shoot with Stella!

Good evening from Larnaca, dear patrons, where I had another truly amazing shoot with Stella.  Although I’ve had a very long day, I thought you might appreciate a quick update about the shoot.

My first Image of the Day with Phi!

Delighted, not so much about me, but about Phi! It’s fantastic that we’ve won Image of the Day on Model Folio.  It’s the leather harness image, from above, which I do love and there’s no sign of the black tape! Phi is such a great model, she deserves the very best.

The bathroom scene

This was the last indoor scene in my shoot with Phi and it was perhaps the most cheeky one with Phi teasing and me playing peeping Tom - always fun with large bathroom mirrors.  The tape stayed on, as you can see but it does look rather sexy, don’t you agree?

Insta safe Stella?

Good morning patrons - I have now received another 27 images from last week‘s shoot with Stella from my retoucher. You may be pleased to hear that out of these, only one is Instagram safe for sure. That’s the lead image in this post, which I shot on the balcony of her apartment. The second one is also probably ok, although I’m less sure as she’s nude and the harness covers nothing although her pose is such that the parts that Instagram forbids are hidden - what do you think?

Stella in starlight harness

This harness is even more interesting than the other one, as it only ‘covers‘ the top part of the body, leaving everything else exposed.  Stella looks great in it, don’t you agree?

Floor to ceiling windows

Sadly it wasn’t quite St Paul’s on view, although the hotel is very close to it, but I still thought the floor to ceiling hotel window allowed me to showcase Phi’s beautiful body against an interesting background, whether shooting against or with the light.  

I’ll do a separate post discussing the challenges with the light in this shoot And how I overcame them.   Please note, however, that the right  tier for those who want my help to I prove their photograph...

With or without tape?

The same harness, two different models. One is wearing tape and the other not.  What are your views on the tape? You may well like one model more than the other but try to not allow that preference to influence your answers!

Hello patrons. Those of you who watched the first video with Phi that I posted late last night may have noticed that the sound was muted.  I’m now posting the same video with sound - except for the introductory bit, which seems to have caused the problem with the sound. The beauty of Stella

I think my new hat does seem to suit Stella, don’t you agree?  Probably more than the second harness from Luxilinge - which covers less than the first one.  Or maybe it’s just the different light in these photos, all natural light, although the first one was in direct late afternoon sunlight, which, in effect, allows me to darken the background.

The leather harness - the full set

Enjoy the full set of professionally retouched images with Phi Rose in the luxilinge leather harness.  Phi provided the shoes, which were remarkably perfectly matched with the harness.  She also provided the black tape - I wonder what you think of that.  Now you have also seen a couple of images of Stella in the same harness without tape.

Yesterdays quizz - the answer

Yes it was Aurora Phoenix, a girl who does seem to enjoy a little bandage.  The image was from last year‘s one and only shoot I had with with her.   All three images included in this post were retouched last week by my retoucher,  Alexander Fess.

Another day, another win!

Woke up this morning to another win! My second win in a purpleport competition. This one is an image of Sammie looking sexy in the nude with loads of bling - it was shot in my home studio last summer. it was my first shoot with Sammie.

My new hat (and Stella)

Things happen quickly when the chemistry is right! Alex my retoucher returned the first three edits just a few minutes ago, Stella loved them and she loved this one so much she asked if she could post it on her Instagram.  Who am I to refuse? So it’s already on her Instagram - censored, of course.  So I thought you might be curious to see the uncensored version. Voila!

Awesome shoot with Stella K

I have just returned from Nicosia after my first ever shoot with the stunning Stella K - a Russian beauty from St Petersburg, a real artist, who has been living in Cyprus for the last twelve months.  It was only a two hour shoot but we managed to do two luxilinge harnesses, a sheer dress, a balcony shoot and several  art nude scenes at the end, as well as a few videos. it was so good that we tentatively agreed to shoot again next week, if we can overcome logistics.  Meanwhile, ...

Jasmine high stills - photography technique

Following on from the behind the scenes video with Jasmine that I posted the day before yesterday, you might also be interested to see some of the stills from that shoot, which happened to be my very first shoot with Jasmine. Please note that these are unedited images, except for a slight exposure correction. Back then I nearly always shot 2/3 of a stop under-exposed, which I found helps with skin tones (nearly all my models love that as it makes them look tanned!).

Five more of Phi Rose looking really hot arrived early this morning from my retoucher.  As you will have noticed in this ans previous posts, Phi is using black tape to cover the bits she doesn’t normally show.  I think that’s quite sexy by itself. What do you think about it?
I do intent to use the leather harness in my shoot with Stella later today, so we’ll be able to compare how it looks without the tape…can’t wait.

Bambi or Barbie - that is the question

Doesn‘t Nicola look like the perfect Barbie doll in these images from our shoots in Ayia Napa last October?  They’re so good that I had these three retouched recently, in addition to the ones that were retouched back then, which were included in previous posts.

Image of the Week on Model Folio!

It was Image of the Day on March 15 and it’s now, additionally, Image of the Week.  How delightful!

I’ve included the technical information of the image in one of the screenshots. As I explained in a previous post I this was mainly a duo shoot and I wanted both models to be in focus, hence the f8.  The rest is done by the natural light, which wouldn’t work as well if it was in the UK in November.  Another reason why Cyprus in November is a great location for photogr...

Behind the scenes with Jasmine High

Although this is an old video - from my very first shoot with jasmine back in November 2021 - I discovered it was never posted here or indeed anywhere else until today!  I decided not to put it through video editing software, largely because I don’t think it needs editing or embellishment.  Do let me know what you think of it please.

Another Image of the Day on MF!

Delighted to win IOTD 25th March 2023 on Model Folio with this beautiful art nude duo image of Julia and Sammie at sunset on the pebble beach.  It’s one from my second round of edits from that shoot posed here last week  (Art nude set - part B).  

I like to think it’s a testament to how many gems there were in last autumn‘s shoots in Cyprus shoots that I’m continuing to win awards like this six months later.
