This was very much Nicola’s idea - a lot of freckles on her face. We were discussing FPIs and the subject of freckles came up - there are two models in Purpleport who win FOIs regularly with images of their freckles…I’m exaggerating if course. The images are good as are the models but all temd to share a common theme - freckles. So Nicola took the plunge - will we win an FPI with either of these? Only time will tell.

Well, mono nudes are meant to be more arty and Victoria is an excellent art nude model so in principle this should work. These were sent to me by one of my retouchers - she felt they work well in mono. To be honest, I’m not entirely convinced as they’re not shot in nature - even then I’m skeptical, as nature on planet earth is often colourful - but on the hotel room balcony. I would, however, love to hear your views!

One of my most memorable shoots of the year was my shoot with Nausicaa Yami at the beginning of November in London.
