Julia - topless model par excellence

I do like to shoot with models with a range of physiques (up to a point, of course) but when it comes to topless shoots, there are a few models that stand out and I feel one of them is Julia.  What do you think?

Tanya Teaser

Tanya modele loves to tease and this video is a good example of how naughty she can be at times. It starts with her sunbathing by the pool at Aphrodit hills villa, then she dips tantalisingly in the pool.  It continues with Tanya teasing at an archaeological site and ends with a little selfie video she made which is the icing in her teasing cake! No wonder she called herself Tanya Tease!

All you need is a white wall

When you have a beautiful art nude model like Julia, that is!  No props are needed, just a plain background to show her off.  What do you think?

These were shot poolside at the Aphrodite hills villa but i avoided showing the pool (and the strong sunlight) as I wanted just the white background and the shade.  The white wall could have been anywhere.

Another Image of the Day on MF!

Delighted to win another IOTD a on Model Folio today for an image I posted yesterday of Nicola at White stones, shot during our Cyprus shoots in October.   

It’s always nice when the win is the outcome of a voting process.  It kind of means lots of members, typically photographers and models, like your work, which is reassuring.  By contrast starred images on MF and FPIs on Purpleport remain a mystery, although it’s still nice to get them.

This location in Cyprus is one of my favourite ones.  It‘s not only ideal for art nude shoots (to access art nude posts, you’ll need to join my all access or VIP tier) but also fantastic for fashion shoots. I instantly fell in love with the first batch of retouched images with Julia and Sammie from White Stones that I am including in this post - I hope you will too!

Again another style probably worth doing more of, if the model poses as cheekily as Julia.  All this was in fact Julia’s idea.  She’s clearly very good at it.  

By the way, I was so happy with my shoots with Julia that I started thinking inviting her to visit me in the UK or travel with her somewhere else in Europe.  Is she someone you would like to see more of?

Behind the scenes with Julia and Carmen

Another starred image on Model Folio

It’s always nice to get a starred image on MF, not least because the image gets featured on their front page, just like Purpleport. This one is from last years shoot in Cyprus with Katie Royle.  It was a proper sunrise shoot - Katie never forgave me for that 😆

100 images from White Stones

Hello patrons! I have now made a selection from my shoot at White Stones with Julia and Sammie, drawing on both models‘ favourites.  It turned out to be 100 images, not bad at all for a two hour shoot.  

I am aiming to have about 30 of these professionally retouched next week.  Meanwhile, enjoy the memory video with the 100 unedited images, made by Photos.
