We had to do this in that room, it was begging for such a scene and the Marlene Dietrich music that was playing created the perfect ambience for it.  But as you can see, Vanessa‘s posing quickly escalates into the erotic, which I’ve no doubt you’ll enjoy!

My only disappointment was the lack of red stockings in Vanessa‘s suitcase.  Well, no one is perfect and I am also partly responsible in that I should have thought of that well in advance.

Another day, another Image of the Day!

Two wins in two days, not bad at all! What’s even more remarkable is that the competition was extremely good! I love the runner up image by Ian Oliver featuring Artemis Fauna and Keira Lavelle in an elegant art nude composition.  But then again I personally don’t like shooting in studios.  I love nature, the outdoors and natural light and of course I do think that Nicola is as good if not more beautiful than these two well established models.

Speechless

These just arrived from my retoucher- the first one left me speechless.  Is it his work or mine? or Is it Vanessa’s expression. It’s clearly a team effort but I’m in awe of this creation!  The second one was Vanessa’s own idea. I asked her up express herself freely, however she wanted.  I do think it’s awesome but it’s less outstanding than the first one.

Another Starred Image on Model Folio

Really happy to win another star on MF earlier today!  The same image also won Image of the Day last week, so it’s now a double award winner. 

The image was created at Camber Sands beach a couple of weeks ago and features the gorgeous British model Bambiii Eyes.

Falling in love again

Another connection with Vanessa was our love for Marlene Dietrich - so this was the Marlene scene and appropriately it was at the Hotel Provocateur with the beautiful red velvet backgrounds.  And if you have watched the Hotel Provocateur video, you’d know that I was playing Marlene Dietrich music, including “Falling in Love Again”.  Wouldn‘t you fall in love with this girl?  I know I would.

Photography workshops in Cyprus - last call

I’m about to start promoting my photography holiday/workshops in Cyprus that are taking place during 1-10 October in Cyprus.  But before I post them on Instagram and photography sites I wanted to give you as my patrons first refusal on these events.

1-4 October - I have one room in the private villa at Aphrodite hills where Anna and I will be staying. It will be just Anna and one other photographer during those days. Cost £300 per day - all inclusive.

Behind the scenes with Vanessa W

One of many perks of shooting a model like Vanessa is that she’s completely cool about doing behind the scenes videos, even when she was getting ready.  So I didn’t miss the opportunity.  And then she was also happy with me doing behind the scenes during chocolate or smoking breaks.  She’s a true treasure.  

ps Having worked with many UK models, working with a German model was a refreshing change.  Quite a few models I worked with in the UK take ages to ch...

Smoking hot - the full series (updated)

She is smoking hot anyways and when she’s smoking she’s smoking smoking hot, if you get my meaning. So I’m devoting a post to smoking hot Vanessa smoking…I’ll update with more photos as they come in from retoucher. I’ve a feeling he’s also a smoker, having grown up in Cyprus where the majority of the population smoke.

My MF accounts

Really proud of my presence on MF. 43 starred images, 33 IOTD wins, 6 IOTW wins and tow IOTM.  Rich pickings, wouldn’t you say?

Now that I’ve shot in Berlin I’m also beginning to see the value of the German site Model Kartei that I have joined a few months ago.

There‘s  certainly life beyond Purpleport and I’m keen to network further into the EU. Not least because of my photography workshops in Cyprus and Greece.

Vanessa usually posts a series of three in a post so I’m sending her these four to choose from.

My first win with Natasha

It was meant to be a pregnancy shoot, but you can hardly tell she’s pregnant in this one. Clearly loved by MF members, this image won IOTD 19-07-2022 by a very very comfortable margin, in fact.  It’s always a delight to win IOTD on MF but I’m still not very happy with six of my images kicked out from the FPI queue on PP.

Don’t you just love this?

It’s one of my very first shots of Sammie during my very first shoot.  I picked her up from her previous shoot near Peterborough and this was an impromptu 15 minute shoot in a random field on the way back to my place.  Clearly her red dress makes the image very strong in contrasting colours.  What do you think?
