I was struggling to get through this one amidst burnout, as I started with the mermaid on the right first but then went through so many attempts and changes for the mermaid on the left for a look/pose that I could at least be satisfied with that I almost wanted to give up on this.

Quick life update: I'm currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, still trying to find a job and more semi longer term living arrangement than my current hostel shared bunkbed situation. I occasionally make use of reference for when I draw my mermaids, and sometimes the models have a bit more junk in the trunk. As I showed in the previous post, there are some different options on deciding where the tail starts and how it forms (with a few more that I've seen by others elsewhere before).
