Nick's comic "Read 00:43" is currently on hold. The storyboard is finished as you might have seen, but I don't know yet how the project will continue.

Thought I could still share some sketches I did around him and the other characters!

These were the first drawings I did of him. I had a boy in mind with straight and stubborn dirty blonde hair. He now looks like Julian, but that's unavoidable lol Keeps happening.

Old characters

Shiro, Pyro, Jiwa are some of my oldest ocs from when I was 16 or so. They belong to some fantasy world. Pyro has a brother complex (of course). Shiro is some ageless magician. Jiwa is a cat person whose people are being oppressed.

Thea and her sexuality. An ongoing topic for me.

In the first image, I tried to express the sadness for an ace person when they grief over intimacy they will never be able to experience. Usually, ace people get more of a positive, confident representation. But the "loss" part is never really mentioned, I find? Yeah, it's more empowering to get a positive rep. But the other side can be there too.

(Not saying 100% that Thea is ace. But it's something I have been exploring...

I often think of my swamp boy Rana. I cut his hair short and suddenly got flooded with worldbuilding questions. I don't think I enjoy worldbuilding when it's about "how tf does this world actually work", haha. Do hoodies exist? Do they wear shoes? Who makes those clothes? (Last one is his big bro.)

I always forget how funny the Benjamin Blümchen audioplays are! I had some of the tapes as a kid, so they are childhood for me. I love Otto's voice when he is voiced by Frank Schaff. He's so grumpy, tired, smart, protective of his elephant bff.
