I love alternate costumes, and a beach episode is the perfect excuse to get the cast in swimsuits. I figured I could work in a little comedy where our heroines get ready to kick butt, only to be reminded of the rules of this beach, and this episode. Heroes are do-gooders after all, so they've gotta throw on swimsuit versions of their costumes to comply with the rules!

I mainly did this because I like alternate versions of costumes and hey, swimsuit versions of costumes are pretty great!

Pulchritudinous unmasking (de-helmeting?) is a question we get asked a lot, so I decided to play with it for the April Fools' strip when I learned the day just so happened to be an update day.
I worked in a nice little "4chan Gold Account" reference too, which was fun.

The story behind this page started with me thinking I could do something where Finch got offended at being called short, but I thought about it and I felt that didn't really fit her character. I looked to the Salvadora buts chart for guidance and realized that her height put her in a position where a couple different boob-related things could happen to her, namely Salvadora (or Pulchritudinous, for what it's worth) ...

Another Ask the Cast page!
I always love doing these. They provide a great opportunity to flesh out individual characters and provide a laugh, while engaging you guys as well. This page continues Loa's development as smug and overconfident.
For Ask the Cast pages, I always shoot for 6 panels. I'm not sure why, but it just feels right. Might have something to do with timing of the jokes.

A few changes happened in this page, namely the final panel, which changed from Gamma Cutie propositioning Finch to the other way around, which led to some fun interactions and was a way to show off Gamma Cutie's ditzy personality a bit. Also, Xatra running away was added to the first panel for continuity's sake.
