Post gardening dip
Refreshing dip after some gardening. It's a mixed bag at this time regarding veggies; some are doing marvellous (leek, beetroot, spring greens...), others not so much (artichoke and courgette plants keep being devoured by snails and slugs).
Any green fingers here?
Back to the river!
Feeling much better today and fancied a dip at the end of the day, yay!

The weather feels really heavy, hot and humid and strange. The sea was incredibly dangerous. Proper red flag. I managed to get in a bit to refresh a few times and that was great 🙏🏾
Recovering
Last week I was in Madrid for my training. It was incredible and incredibly intense so my body is asking me to stop and become a cat for a few days. I'm literally a cat surrounded by my cats who are the loveliest companions. Wild waters are there when I feel it's the right time again. For now, just resting and digesting.

Glorious sea swim
Oh goodness me, last night I ended up staying in my van by the sea, it was an spontaneous decision. I love that from time to time. It reminds me of the times when I lived there and that was the norm!
It's one of my favourite pleasures, to jump into the water pretty much directly from bed, when the day is fresh and new, and sun starts to be noticed on the skin. Exhilarating and revitalising

I came to the sea later in the day, to wander, to swim, to dance at the end of the beach. A few people around, but pretty quiet. However more people are discovering it, in comparison with the past. This is supposedly a nudist beach, I was the only one naked though. I find that sad really.
I had a great time anyway

The sun has arrived for at least a couple of days and it feels like heaven! It's been raining so much in the last month that feeling a little bit of warmth in the skin is precious.
I came to the sea, to find beautiful turquoise colours and perfect conditions to enjoy the water. Precious time 🙏🏾♥️
And it was all green
It's incredible how green and lush everything is right now after weeks of rain. Apparently we'll get some sun over the weekend; I'm already planning a trip to the sea🙏🏾

I was away in my training these days and the blackout in Spain found my on a train in the middle of nowhere. It took me 15 hours to get back home instead of 3, and it was a real odyssey, a funny and enjoyable one. I can't describe how amazing it was to be in the river with that light. We got a bit of everything, heavy rain, sun... So the sky was very dramatic and when the sun was out everything was so alive that it's indescribable! Pure beauty.
This was a few days ago and for some reason I've just realised that the post wasn't uploaded! Right now forecast is grey, cold and rain. But for sure I'll venture out later.

These days the weather feels like summer, and it's really lovely tbh. Longer swims, warm sunshine, and being naked for hours whenever possible!

My cheeks are very red because of gardening, perfect weather for that too!
School trip
Yesterday I was working in these beautiful places, taking a school trip to the mountains. However I wasn't allowed to swim there; it's a super protected area for wildlife conservation, and also a sacred place for Catholics (where the waterfall is). So water from a certain distance! I did splash my face though!
But today, somewhere else while the kids are on their kayaks I managed to sneak in the river! Gorgeous stuff

All of the sudden it feels like summer these days (a bit too abrupt for my taste tbh!). It's about big contrast still, cold mornings and mist, and then boom above 20 degrees! The house is also much colder than the outside! Water temperature is also still very cold (went back to neoprene socks!). Contrasts and enjoying all of it (apart from feeling cold at home!).
I don't know about you but since the change of clocks this weekend I feel that time is also running faster!

At the seaside
Yesterday I overdid it a bit. Instead of driving home directly from where I was, I did a detour and went to the coast. Beautiful sunshine but the wind was cold and strong, so I couldn't stop and enjoy it laying on the sand. At least I had a lovely walk and swim in those turquoise waters. Quite a few people around, no one else swimming though.

Today we got some moments of sun which felt amazing, after days of heaviness in the atmosphere, in the body.
I felt a shift in the water temperature, slightly warmer! And I thought, maybe it's getting nearer to the time when I stop wearing my neoprene socks! So I did a test after my dip and I believe that moment has arrived 🙏🏾
