Weekly update!
This week felt so long, haha. I’ve been testing every part of the game nonstop and adding the sound effects I already have.
Now I’m hearing Pierrot’s bell everywhere. I listened to it so much it’s haunting me!!

Some of these are already colored with flat colors! But they still need adjustments to the line art. Most of the time, after painting a sprite, I start to notice the flaws and end up redoing some parts.
The city one, I just realized that I can reuse another image, so I think it will be easier to work on it than I had planned.

Some have already been completed, while others are still in progress, so I thought it best not to include them here yet.
I may still need to add another sprite for the Ticket Taker and Jester, I'm deciding that now in the testing phase >.>

Weekly update!
Got some good news this week, everyone! I finally finished coding everything! (Yep, Yesterday, even in the early morning hours.)
So the entire script is now fully implemented! Right now it’s sitting at almost 4,000 lines of code and dialogue!
Next, I’ll start running tests to make sure all the lines and choices work as they should. This part’s long and tiring having to watch every single scene over and over just to be sure nothing breaks.

I think I managed to give a pretty good idea of what this tent looks like, right? Luckily, the mirrors weren’t too hard to deal with, but it’s the first tent with so many variations inside. And to make up for the simplicity of these backgrounds, the code for this part got pretty tricky, and I haven’t fully tested it yet.

Some WIPs from the final part of the game! Ticket Taker didn’t need that many new sprites, though I still need to fix a few of his because of a small outfit mistake. But the backgrounds... yeah, I’m not great with perspective, and most of them kinda demand it.

This week I’ve been working on the Blue Tent! I’ve finished almost all of Jester’s sprites they just need a few final tweaks.
As for Ticket Taker’s tent, dialogue-wise it isn’t as long as the others, but it has lots of choices and branching situations. In other words, it’s a big chunk of code with plenty of variables that’ll need to be properly tested to make sure every possible outcome works as it should!

Whenever I test everything, I always notice something that fits better or something that needs to go, so there might still be a few more of him coming!

I’ve got a bit more to show this week, a few background sketches, and one of them’s already finished!
I know my background sketches don’t help much haha, I’m still not great at them, but I think the painting part will make up for it!

Weekly update!
This week I focused a lot on coding! And I finally finished Jester’s tent at least the coding part. There are still plenty of his sprites to wrap up, and then I’ll start working on the blue tent!
This is the last act of this update, so once I’m done coding it, I’ll move on to final testing with my beta testers and start working on the sound effects (the good thing is that part usually doesn’t take too long).

Weekly update!
I’ve got some good news about this week’s progress!
I started working on the purple tent last week and I’ve already coded around 60% of it.
Most of the dialogue, transitions, and effects are done!
Though I still have a lot of sprite work to do for that tent.
But if I keep up this pace, next week I’ll already be working on the blue tent the last one, and probably the trickiest when it comes to coding.

I finally finished coding the Cyan tent! Phew, I was really eager to wrap up that part. Just a few sprites left to finalize, but it’s basically done!
Now I’m starting on the Purple tent and running some tests with Jester’s sprites. So far things are going okay… for now. His tent has a lot of sprites and it’s gonna be a bit of work let’s see what kind of headache he’ll turn out to be!

Weekly update!
This week I managed to finish coding the cyan tent, only 2 sprites left to complete that scene.
(And once again I had to fix the Doctor’s sprite… I really hope that doesn’t happen with Jester.)
Now there are only the blue and purple tents left for the update’s coding to be done. But with the amount of time this part of programming took, I can already say it won’t be ready this month. My new expectation is around the middle of next month BUT that’s not a guarantee....

More WIPs!
I’ll be showing some of the Doctor and Jester’s scenes and poses, but I’ll keep their designs hidden for now. By the way, the Doctor’s mask is going through some new adjustments…
In my process that’s pretty normal! I test the design inside the game, and depending on how it looks I can spot things to improve either in the design or in the pose of the image. Weird, right? I know.

Sorry for being a bit absent on social media, folks I’ve been really focused on finishing the part I started coding. When things don’t work out, I get obsessed with fixing them until they finally run haha! I’m still at it…
