April Sketches!

Hope everyone had a good April Fools Day, and a great Weekend! Starting off here are some sketches for Growl's monthly challenge (which I have been severely neglecting lol), This month was to draw a Horse from memory, a "mind horse" if you will (based on the meme) and then to draw a horse using reference. (I included my ref too! :D)

Anyways, I don't know if I was successful with the challenge, but I did have some fun drawing some unicorns and workbenches... I mean horses 😌👍

A few things for you guys- I'll start with the bears. Felt like drawing a couple of them, along with some ideas I'd had, and was in NO WAY pressured to do so by Hash and Budge 😂

Edit: Made a few changes to the piece to fix some things that I wasn't happy with. First, the large block of light on the arm/upper back was too large and bright and was drawing a lot of attention away from the face, so breaking that from up a bit, helped with that. I went with a more regular striped light, as if through a barred window or somethin...

WerePsps Rage Final!

Finally done with this guy! Actually took longer than I'd expected to finish, but I'm happy that I spent the extra time on him. I also threw in the original that this piece was based on, just as comparison (Tbf the original was done in like 4-5 hours, so... it not totally comparable.😆 BUT, it's cool that a new piece was brought about by an older piece and idea 👍)

More Sketches and werepsps WIP update

Hey guys! So, here's the last update on the werepsps before he is completed! Basically all that's left if the final detailing work.
On the sketching side, I did some more variety with body types and creatures, (a lot of them are just chimeric to varying degrees). For the final head sketches though, they were actually done after watching a short video on John Singer Sargent. Loved the sketch works that were shown in it, and so I went and did a few on that burst of inspiration lol. Absolute...

Just some Work in progress for a few pieces. I will be getting back into the pose sketches again, but I wanted to get some painting done as well. So, we have a quick Chiron piece, with the little mango wolf Ro, A new Chief Bogo piece (Wanted something a bit more dynamic over the last more Portrait-styled sketch) and still chipping away at the Were psps (just added a bit more colour on him).
