Day 1 - Karkinos

Also, totally forgot to update you guys on Arlo. He’s doing much better now. We’re still not totally sure what caused it, but best guess it that the reaction he was having was to a newer treat that we were giving him. (Which were tossed out immediately) Happy that he’s back to his normal self though 👍

Krampus update + Creatuanary2023

Hey guys, here's another small update on Krampus. I haven't decided if I want to change the horns too or keep them as is, so I thought I'd run it by you guys again. Also, I might give him a cloak but draped over the far shoulder. We shall see.

I would have liked to have gotten further with this one at this point, but I've had to take care of one of my doggos the last couple of days. Arlo, may have had an allergic reaction to something he had eaten (still not sure what). He ended up cove...

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great and restful Christmas and Weekend. Just wanted to post some more sketches that I did over the last few days.

Also, just so happens that I ended up coming up with another Krampus design and I wanted to ask. So, because I do want to finish the other Krampus piece, should I keep the design as is, or should I update it to the other version? Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on it 👍

Some sketches based on a fun little interaction on Twitter, where @/WJakepaw suggested I give the Moonmoon fall meme a bit of a "werewolf treatment" lol.

Gotta admit, I had a lot of fun doing these. xD

Cypress Paintover

I was scrolling through some art from last year, and found this headshot that I'd done of Cypress. Noticing that it was reaaaally outdated design-wise, I went ahead  and did a bit of a paint over to update it a bit. And so, I treated this one as an exercise as well. 

Also, I threw in a transitional gif between the two pieces to show the more immediate changes.

A quick painted sketch from the other Morning! It was an idea that had been floating around for the last week, so I decided to turn it into a bit of a perspective exercise. ;)

November Poll Piece (update)

So this is a bit of a continuation from the last post, but for my Dragon tier supporters. I will be moving the November piece to be worked on sometime after the 8th, (probably starting on the 9th or 10th). I haven't had the time to set up a proper stream this month, and I would like to save the poll pieces for streams, since it's a fun time for us to hang out, chill and draw. Makes them much more meaningful in my opinion.

Apology

Hey guys! I just wanted to apologize for the smaller amount of content this month. There happened to be a lot of things going on lately, which happened to kind of converge and took away my time from drawing as many pieces. 

Mostly helping out with stuff (some construction projects with my Dad) and prepping for younger Brother's Wedding coming up on the 3rd. (I've also been coordinating with his fiancee, since I'll be baking the cake, as well as a LOT of cupcakes lol for it). (PS. I...

Bull Dragon

This was a long-awaited piece for DerpyDrake! We ended up decided to go the same approach for this piece, as I had previously done for the Weretober pieces. But other than that, I was basically given total freedom for this guy's design! 

Thoroughly enjoyed getting to work on this guy, and thanks again!

Birbcat Badge

Another one for Growlshift, of his Gryphon character! I had a lot of fun with this one, and enjoyed getting to draw another bird-type face, which is not something I do super often.

Eddie (Iron Maiden) Tattoo

So because this one is pretty different to my usual subject matter, I'll give a bit of backstory to it. 

Several (5-6) years ago, a long time friend of my parents had asked me if I could draw her an Eddie tattoo for her. In short, it's basically a representation for her son, and she has another tattoo which represented her other son, who sadly passed a long while ago. At the time, I had accepted, but I actually ended up forgetting, because they had not long after, moved to the east...
