Hey gang! Urgh, it's been a lot lately. Following the previously mentioned conventions, I've been super ill (possibly covid?) and it's really bogged me down. Apologies for the lack of updates over here, I really wanted to come back strong with something substantial. Perhaps I should stop fretting and not be afraid to give smaller updates! Incidentally, I'm in our Patreon Discord server practically every ...

So HELLO I'm late again. Yep. It's taken me a long time to get the script to a complete and ready state and... I'll be honest, I'm still not 100% about it.
A lot of it hinges on a general awareness of Pixar and it's easter eggs which may not be such a universal things as I thought. For example, when Disney made that 100 Year short film "Once Upon A Studio" (which I really enjoyed!), I saw a LOT of comments ...

Hey gang!
So another month has passed with no video. Apologies for that, I seem to have shifted into a bi-monthly upload system. That wasn't the plan, but I decided to take things a bit easier on myself in September. I got caught up on some personal projects, I have a couple of medical check-ups (I'm fine!), celebrated my son's 6th birthday. A bunch of self-care stuff really.
It's not all been personal stuff though. I've been working with some artists on some new merch desig...

During the production of the Winnie The Pooh video, I invited my own father to voice the storybook elements of the video. The response to my dad has been lovely, he did a wonderful and wholesome job!
He's not an actor so mistakes are bound to happen, but for some weird reason my dad got very stuck with the line "An Introduction is to introduce people". Six words. Here (with his permission) is the outtakes of just that one line!

A brief and belated Pooh-themed podcast about the nature of Imaginary Friends. It was too much of a side-track to include in the video, but I predict this will be heavily involved in a future video!

The latest video about the hidden woman in The Rescuers, it suddenly required me to have to go through A LOT of Playboy and other vintage magazines around that time. And it was quite a journey that would sadly be in vain, so I'm left with 1) the firm knowledge that she's not there and 2) a story of my experiences, which I have shared with you today!

For real though, thank you for your patience! Expect a full debrief of the making of this video soon!

Hey all! Apologies for the silence over here (btw, if you're not on the discord, I recommend it, as I'm able to be remain way more active there). It's summer break, time doesn't exist, yadda-yadda-yadda, I can keep making excuses OR I can just sh...

So, as per my last post you'll know my current upcoming video is about the saucy and naughty secret stuff hidden in Disney, including the infamous "Woman In The Window" from The Rescuers.
The script was written and recorded, the edit has been begun, things were going at a normal pace. Everything was fine.
But then I found something.
You see, the "Woman In The Window" is one of tho...

In the 1977 Disney movie "The Rescuers" there's a hidden woman in the window. Not a drawing, but photo of a real woman who is, as you can tell in the image, really... well, yeah.
But how did she get in this film for kids and what about all those other urban myths of hidden sordid secrets in other Disney properties? That's the next Eddache video! (it's turning out to be a very Disney-heavy year!)
The script is attached for an early look!

Hey gang! If you saw my last post with the script for my next video about Winnie The Pooh, you'd probably see how long it was! Too long unfortunately to get completed in time for this month. I feel guilty because this is now two months without a video but I want to get this one done right, rather than rush an...

As mentioned before, there's no Eddache video this month, so in lieu of that I'll be doing a livestream Q&A on the Eddache channel TOMORROW at 6pm (GMT).
While I'll be taking questions from the chat, I invite Patrons to leave some questions here in advance!

I've reached the difficult conclusion to NOT release an Eddache video this month (April 2023). Here's why.
At the end of last year, I sat down and planned what video I'll be doing every month in 2023. Previously I often spent a long time debating what video to make and waste a lot of time doing so. By planning videos well in advance, it eliminates that deliberating phase plus it's not all set in stone, so it's flexible enough that I could simply do something else if I want to, say if I'...

As you may have seen, Eddache has been launched on Nebula, a video streaming platform that specialises in informative, educational and insightful videos, especially video essays.
While it was not required of me, I wanted to deliver the BEST versions of every Eddache video to date just for Nebula. These include removing ALL ads and fixing some errors, but for a bunch of videos, I include some brand new Eddache Epilogues...

For the recent video, I spoke with video game journalist and author, Laura Kate Dale, about her relationship with April Fools Day and autism. It was a fascinating discussion, and I could only sadly include small parts of the interview into the video itself. But the whole interview is here for you to watch!

Hey all! I've been working hard on the next script. There's a LOT of material to try and condense down into a video, but here is just some of the high and lows of April Fools Day on the Internet - in script format (minus an intro...)
Enjoy!

For the next Eddache video, I'm gonna do something a little different. Instead of a tv show or movie, I'm looking at April Fools Day (and this isn't, in of itself, an April Fools Day prank). I want to explore how April Fools Day has affected the online world, with its creative pranks, its successful ruses, and its utter disasters.
Do you have some favourite or notorious examples of an online April Fools Day prank? Let me know!

Sorry it's a day late but here is the latest podcast where I look at this year's Oscar nominees for Best Animated Feature and give my reviews, thoughts and ultimately my vote.
I avoid spoilers wherever possible and ironically I haven't seen Puss In Boots: The Last Wish so I'm instantly a bad example of what I highlighted in the recent video!

Sorry for the delay to these, but here are the sources/references for my previous two videos, if you're interested in the material or want to look into anything further. I usually try to get these done at least shortly after the video is out, if not before, but I fell behind with the Disney one.
These can normally be found in the video's description, starting with the Captain Planet video from last year. I hope to eventually backtrack through all the past videos too when I get the chanc...
