Reworking a Morrigan Aensland piece I've done a year ago, with the style I have now. This is one of the poses I think a full-body just would not work. I'm planning to keep this composition/landscape orientation, and work it out from there.

Going to get back into making fanart in October; characters that are fit with theme of Halloween (COUGHS Darkstalkers, and more). 😏 It's gonna be good!~ 🖤🧡

Also, sorry works this month has been pretty underwhelming, not gonna lie. I've been learning how to properly operate & make stickers. Surprisingly was very tough and a big headache; this took a whole month.😔 It's all over now, I've figured it all out, and I can focus on making art again.

[WIP] Figuring out how to incorporate backgrounds

Really want to try to do some world-building. I feel like some character poses would work better with an actual background instead of being blank white or solid colors; like this pose for example. So I'm trying some photobashing, thinking maybe this technique could help me.

Won't be finishing this piece this week (probably need another month or so). I need to work on this some more before putting in color, but I also want to add a lot more before calling anything finished. I want to push the boundaries some more of what I can do.

Sorry it's been pretty slow on art recently, definitely didn't want to rush this one. I find this to be such a strong pose (one-of-a-kind), I want this piece to be a tribute to the character. With a little spin as well, with yakuza tattoo, making Mai even more BAD@$$!!! 😎

This piece will also come with a variant, but I'm still working on it. This variant will not have the yakuza tattoos.
