This is something Scott would definitely advocate/help administer if she were awake, but for now this is more of a huge safety concern. Emphasis on huge. And sloshy.

These frames are looking pretty ok so far o~o;

That's not even how it's supposed to look when played, either, those are just the frames that were drawn, playing on a loop. The arm on the right and face are meant to be more tense than they appear, choosing which of the frames appear can do more with what's available. If it doesn't work as intended I'll just redo/trim/make more frames :P More bulges next :v

Plus I'm pretty sure I'm overdue to do some idea pile stuff :X So maybe 2 of those ...

So for Gery's particular crossbreed of dragon species, the females are interested in finding suitable mates and the males are nurturing mother figures that carry around/look after their young. Both versions of Gery/Geri are otherwise confused about how they're supposed to handle reproduction. Geri would take just about any participant back to her nest regardless of whether or not it's a compatible match, and Gery would adopt and look after anything he considers small and/or helpless.

Work's been awful lately and I felt the neurotic itch to get something done, so I used a vacation day to do what I otherwise would do with vacation time if I were actually on vacation—work. Only it's work I like doing and that work is more animation :v

In this case, tummy animations. A day well spent :B While this loop isn't done yet (legs, tail, and lots of face to be animated in detail) It's probably one of the most complicated things I've put together :s...

This week's progress... (some spoilers)

...Seems... underwhelming. But I made a background for the game and updated the animation loop I shared last time. It may not seem like much, but I added more hand drawn frames to it instead of using tweens to fill in the gaps, going from what I guess real animators call 'animating on twos' to animating on ones... this makes it a lot smoother, aside redoing some of the top ruff frames I'm happy enough with it to do the rest of what the loop's supposed to be.
