The Dark Mind

Lately I wanted to learn more about photoshop, editing, designing and digital painting. All of those skills I could use in my photography to create more abstract self-portraits. 

This is my first attempt at more complicated editing. Please let me know what you think, share some advices and be honest :D This will help me learn and if you have any ideas for future projects - let me know as well :)

In the land of frozen water

This is unfortunately the last post I have for you from the trip to the highest mountains in Poland. I am a little bit disappointed. Not only in myself but in this whole place.

I wanted to take so many beautiful photos but... there really weren't many places to go. The views were boring most of the time with houses builded tightly on every hill and in every valley. There were so many cars as well! Everything was sooo touristy without many places to rest and take a deep breath. Not to me...

The Mountain Ridge

The mountain peaks cast off their cloaks of dewy mist, And stand revealed in the pure cold light of morn; The shadows creep down the mountain to keep tryst With night, to watch another day new-born.

The sun arising from his bed of rolling clouds Imprints a burning kiss upon the virgin snows. A roseate blush the mountain tops enshrouds, While slowly with the pearly tint it glows.

Soon the mountain crags are bathed in golden showers, And glorious soar and stand before God’s face. ...

I have dreamed about such morning for a long time. I finally got to experience it.

When I woke up early in the morning the whole room was filled with pink light. I quickly looked out of my roof window and I saw this breathtaking view. The sky over the mountains was burning. It was a nice break from the never ending blizzards and fog. I watched the whole spectacle enchanted with the beauty of the world.

I want to experience the changing of light during the seasons. Some day I will ...

The Abandoned Settlement

I don't know much about this village. I found it randomly while I was hiking in deep snow. Those little cottages were really far away from eachother and it looked like they were abandoned a long time ago. Because of that the whole place looked very beautiful but it also had this creepy, uneasy vibe out of a horror movie.

From reading a history of a nearby village located in the valley I assumed the cottages were once used by the shepherds herding their sheeps during the summer. Now the ...

Tomorrow I am leaving for a weekend to visit an over 100 year old village with old wooden houses etc. I will do a photoshoot there, of course and I wanted to ask you what kind of photos would you like to see. 

Witch Hunt

The young witch was running. She didn't know where... only that she has to be as far away from town as possible. She didn't fit there and everyone felt the same. That's why the witch hunt began.

She run into the woods, through meadows now covered in thin layer of snow and through the misty swamps. The once loud howling of dogs now became suddenly fell silent. The night is here.

She made a torch to keep herself warm and find a path through the mud... Who knows what's hiding there?<...

Santa Lucia

This is the first time I have ever celebrated this holiday. A holiday of light in the darkest time of the year. I wanted to do a quick photoshoot and I found a perfect spot... right in front of the entrance to my flat. The snow covered the trees with a white blanket and it looked perfect... so cozy and fluffy.

First part (the blue one) I did one day but I wasn't completely happy with it so I repeated it the next night in a different outfit. With the second one was related a funny story....
