Idyllic morning

Oh what a day that was. I was planning a short camping trip for a loong time and it finally happened. I took some friends and we went to the nearby forest looking for a place to spend the night. We noticed that the clouds are getting darker and darker. We even saw a few lightnings far away but that didn't stop us.

When we finally found the best place the rain started pouring and the storm was getting closer. We had to build a tent as quick as we could to have a shelter from the rain but...

This is the second (but exactly first) part of the photoshoot. I still got some photos so I think there will be another part. I wasn't really happy with them at first but now I kinda like some of them.

Here I tried to recreate my ideas fot this set but I wasn't able to find a perfect spot so that's why the photos are a bit more simple. I need to find a perfect forest for this photoshoot but for that I might wait for the winter.

Today the sky cried with me

Today was the first day without her... The world feels so empty and cold now. Even the heavy clouds came to comfort me... To hug me with a heavy blanket of mist. 

I love this type of weather and I wish I could create some photos but today I wanted to just enjoy this view from my Grandma's house. Isn't it cozy and peaceful?

Happiness is a butterfly

While editing this set I was listening to Lana Del Rey's song with the same title and I must tell you that there's some true in that. For me happiness is really hard to catch lately but when I finally got it - even for a moment - it's so worth the struggle.

It's like this small white butterfly, really fast and delicate. Hopefully some day it will grow to become this really big and colorfull one.

For now I can say it's better. I am more optimistic about the future.

The birth of a Dryad

Today I created this edit to distract myself from what has been happening in my life lately. I probably won't go into many details but today is my birthday and it's the worst I've ever had. Full of sadness, tears and dark thoughts. 

I am happy I got this little hobby. It truly helped me survive this day and made me feel better.

Midsommar - a short film

This time I didn't add any music in the background. I wanted you to hear what I heard for the closest expirience possible.

You can hear the music of nature mixed with the sounds of the big city that's waking up and getting ready for a new day. Listening do the recordings back home I got spooked by some sounds (can you hear the heavy breathing too?). Also can you see the big splash somewhere in the middle of this film? This is my second photoshoot during the shortest night of the year. Well... not exactly. I wanted to do this photoshoot over two weeks ago but I just couldn't wake up this early. I wanted to wake up at 4 because the light is just perfect at this time of the day + there's no people around and you can swim in a lake in the most busiest park in Warsaw without tghe fear of being seen by many.

The creative process behind my photos

Now you probably now how I edit my photos (full tutorials only in the highest tiers but you have all seen some timelapses). Now I wanted to tell you a bit about the creative process behind my self-portraits.

This all started when I took the 7th photo in the old quarry. I had a thought that it would be nice to create a self-portrait when I am falling off of this cliff. Don't ask me why tho XD I am pretty sure most of you expierienced a feeling when you want to jump from a really high pla...
