Reposal (Day 3 of my trip)

After two really tiring days it was time for a break because there was a lot more to come. The good thing was that it was pouring all day so I didn't feel bad about taking this needed rest.

Of course it didn't mean that I was laying in bed all day... no no. I went on a 2 hours walk aroung the village I was staying at. I decided that the best way was to follow the nearby river.

First I walked into the forest with huuuge stones covered in moss. It looked straight out of ...

Ghosts of the past

This spontaneous trip to the east of Poland took me back in time... At least I felt like that.

This time I was visiting an open-air museum of the Polish countryside. This buildings are from XVIII and XIX century but polish people lived like that since middleages I assume :).

For this ocasion I decided to hand-sew a dress that was inpiried by folk fashion. It's the yellow dress from the second photo. I think I did a quiet good job. Keep in mind I only had two days to fin...

In the clouds (Day 2 of my trip)

On the second day of my trip I decided to go to the bigger moutains in the national park. It was actually the highest point I climbed on in my life (about 1500 m above sea level) I know it's probably not that high for you but I have an extreme fear of heights so it was a big step for me. You also have to remember that I was traveling with my dog (that you can see on the last photo) so I had to set the right difficulty lever for her.

The thing that bothers me tho is that in Poland ...

Untamed spirit (Day 1 of my trip)

This summer I went on a week long trip to the south of Poland. For those of you who don't know, Poland is pretty flat country and only the farest south is covered in hills and mountains. As you probably already know, I always wanted to live in a small cottage in the mountains, so every year I try to go there at least once.

This year was no different.

First day of being there I decided to go on a day-long hike to the wild waterfall. On the way I passed a forest glade full of mounta...

Mysterious land

Let me take you ona a long walk through the mist and darness...

I will always remember this evening. The eerie feeling that was with me, the dark and scary trees peeking from the thic fog but also the quietness of the world.

The first and the second photo will be probably my fav for a looong time. On the second one you can see an over 100 yo church from my town but in this dense fog it looks almost like an old and scary castle straight out of the horror film.

Daughter of the night

I was working for almost two weeks everyday and I just new that I need to take a break after that. I visited my grandmother for a few days. I wanted to take some photos but I didn't plan anything.

One evening I decided that today is the day. I packed everything and went for a walk. I wanted to see my favourite part of the forest nearby. The meadows was covered in mud and deep puddles so I had to take of my shoes and walk barefoot. Walking through the mud wasn't a pleasant experience but...

Dark harvest

I went for a walk just before the sunset to take some photos. I wasn't planning anything and the only thing I knew was that I wanted to show a sickle (that I made out of cardboard :D). I took some pictures and the decided to have a small bonfire at the end of the day. When it was getting dark I decided to slowly walk back home. Then I saw the most magical view in my life...

The meadows were covered in a very thin layer of mist. It was pretty dark but the fog had a tint of blue that crea...

Garden of secrets

This series remind me of Alice in Wonderland.

Normally it's a crowded area next to my apartment so I don't usually like to go there. This time I decided to visit this place in middle of the week in the morning. I was suprised by how empty it was. I finally had a chance to truly see the magic of this place and I fell in love with it. Can you believe that there's even a small waterfall?! In between photos I was ...
