TQ Launcher Version 2 Closed Alpha

Hey all! The Shame Games team are hard at work as always. Aika is a bit distracted running the super fun Danger Quest game for nearly 200 players on the Discord server but that's by-the-by :P We're still getting lots done, including Area57 doing some great stuff to make the launcher extra special, including some graphic design work by Wishberri.

Trap Quest May 2021 Unstable Build

Hey gang, here's a thing for you! As usualy it's almost entirely untested. The reason the changelist isn't as big as some other months is because there's been a lot of other stuff going on behind the scenes this month, including but not limited to:

* Working on compiling with some benchmarking features so that we can identify the areas of the code most responsible for game lag

January 2021 Unstable Build HOTFIX and Changelist

EDIT 3rd February 2021:  I Hotfixed a couple of issues and updated the download link:

* Fixed a bug where the extra credit zone was inaccessible

* Fixed a bug where the alarm icon showing you how long you had to return to the academy wasn't changing colour

* Fixed a bug where the ruby lessons with Hannah 'promoted' you from ruby to ruby.

Important Development Schedule Update News

Hi everyone, Aika here!

Earlier this month I polled alpha tester patrons to find out how people feel about the current development schedule and how much of my time tends to be eaten up by acceptance testing and then the painfully slow and boring process of publishing. It turns out that the vast majority of supporters at this level are happy for me to publish stable(ish!) new versions once every two months (with two month's worth of new stuff in each one).

Something that's becoming more and more tricky for us here at Shame Games is publishing new versions. It takes Aika over 4 hours on average to do everything involved in getting all the different character window versions of a release documented, compiled, uploaded and published. Not including testing, of course, and the admin behind the scenes to maintain the collaborative working environment and so on. It takes almost as long to publish the frequently required hotfixes.

EDIT 2 3rd September 2020: I can now confirm that Patreon's text editing interface is officially a pile of poo. I update the links, check the links, double-check the links, and then click update, and it reverts the links. It appears I will have to literally delete all the text and then write it out again each time.
