Soooooo whilst I was spending some quality with the bimbos I was having some issues with the camera....I wouldn't reset properly and and backtracking was nigh impossible cause the damn camera wouldn't switch back....anyway after a couple thoughts that little duo of nodes up top, solved the problem :). Also gave some more effects to the explosives, delayed explosion so thing's like canisters can roll around and hit effects so steam or sparks or flames can shoot out before the explosion f...

Soooooo did some cleanup with the BP which resorted into fixing it to where the meshes properly switches in all current instances (right mesh for the right scene ;) ), also got the robot droids firing code in also added aggro fields so that enemies aren't goin all crazy when the player's not around.

Oh will ya look at that almost the end of the year.... Any way first view of the depth area you go into to cover on the left or right, may put a cover spot out in the middle, also put in explosive barrels(really just explosion actors) cause no game is complete without them :) they also chain explode for maximum mayhem :)

Getting back in the swing of things, started with a bit of work on the bimbos animation graph really clean up mostly and some more work on the transition timings. Then a bit of work on the battle droids setup(code and animation blueprint), so they'll be ready for the demo.

Worked on this guy a little bit. Mostly animation transfer/re-targeting. They'll be able to run duck behind cover , feel free to dispatch them with extreme prejudice :)

Also working a weird sound issue when you get up close to the character and you shoot....pitch on the volume changes or the sound is really short for some weird reason so things like that.

Sorry for not posting the last few days doing a experiment thing :). Need to run a few experiments in a somewhat destructive productive manner, so decided to do it with with a new interactive. This interactive focuses on custimizations (things discovered here will be used in Captain peen) as you can see, I tried to do more with physics but that need some more experimentation :P. Release for this one is imminent so stay tuned for it.

Ahhhhhh yeah, work on the Bimbos and some other SMEX scenes has started, today was the initial rough phase, making some systems etc. So the animations will be dependent on then options you choose before the start of the level(multi play-through mmmmm) , and will be added to the gallery after encountered of course. Same goes for any other SMEX scenes you encounter . Thinking or having and interface pop up, either buttons or something akin to QT button press...idk probably decide that via poll ...

Took some time to clean up some things, cursor visibility in climbing situations , cover peek left(still have to make the aim offset animations), and making the cursor still visible at what is half range so that even its its not hitting a target you can still get a visual of it. just stuff you gotta make sure you don't leave behind...or else. Hopefully now that I have a proper workflow I can pump these out faster without interference.

Before I got to deep into Bimbo development went on ahead and worked out some materials, particularly the base of the shaft and peen which was peculiarly troubling cause of material mismatches, but but with the use of some dithering in the opacity I was able to blend it well I think. It also allows for color changes and peen changes(should be fun). Bimbos on the way, till next the update!

Still working on the cover system blah! Really just animations and transitions, coding is good and works. Also added the mech in not coded yet but he's ready to go. Anyway aiming for bimbo action this weekend, provided the ala mentioned cover system animations are working somewhat.....fingers crossed.To the next update!

Added cross hair to the new aiming system to make it easier to see what your aiming at of course. Might also have the option to choose a different cross hair????? Anyway onwards to BIMBOS! :P.
