Dev update 2/4/2021(Le Final Build)

Finally final freaking leeee, the final build is upon me, I had to fix and add some last minute things. Had a major engine bug hence the extremely late late (not to mention the family incident ) delivery . But alas it works, it built, it runs. Doing a final play through to make sure everything's firing on all cylinders before I pack it up for release later today. oh and she's got gotten a little thicker 3.08gb's now, not much but still. Stay tuned the post later today.  

Life/dev update......

As you may have noticed game didn't come out today.... had another disastrous family moment, which through everything off, was actually yelled to get out by my own brother.....after everything and everyone cooled down, and the apparent miscommunication had been resolved I can stay, but I'm like, I really really really need to get out of here...So with that now presumably over.... presumably, took a couple of shot's of burbon, and getting back to work, so I can get this game out.  Boy whe...

Changes

Soooo I'm considering changing my patreon to the pay first method , it's a bit discouraging seeing it get hit hard every month. I wholeheartedly appreciate you  guys who've stuck in there and give support and  continued supporting etc, that is encouraging. So what say you, yay or nay?

 Just saying, heavily leaning towards a hell yay right now but if you guys think other wise I'll consider that more. Leave comments below, would love to hear some feedback or thoughts or bot...

Dev update 1/2/2020(right there, literally)

Alright sooooo update, looks like its coming later today, while tweaking I wasn't happy with the o'sounds. So I got some new one's let me tell ya, much much better.  It's all about the details and I wanna get as many right as possible. So hang in there folks we're almost there.

Dev update 1/31/2021

Hey guys still working. Still looking to release it at least to you guys  later tonight, I'll update you if that changes.  Just finishing things off, testing and tweaking. So stay tuned almost done.

On the final stretch - all that's left is the final setup and detailing and some more testing. but it's right there just gotta nip it :) . 

forgot to mention Gloop also is a different color now...yeah 

and still planning to launch this weekend so stay tuned!

Almost there! New title screen with all the fixin's. A few more animations, testing and some bug fixes and this one will be done. Stay tuned.

There be mermaids in these waters! but just back ground pieces but still cool though and you can view them in the gallery :) . 

whats left to be done 

• set dressing levels 6-15 :P
• win animations (shouldn't take too long)
• bad end animations(TBD)
• cut scenes (also shouldn't take to long)
• new main menu and gallery area
• testing

Game Dev Update 1/20/2021

New water woot! Using UE4's new water system, still a little jank on the interactable elements but it looks good. Decided to go with a night time infiltration in this game made sense especially  if you wanna steal something lol. 

So whats left

• Set dressing for the levels(a dock, city and cove/cave/city?(its the treasure area)) 
• animations(I made this part more streamlined this time but still the longest part of the Dev for me)

Woot! level block outs done, now for detailing and animations. That is all, till next update!

Game dev Update 1/17/2021

A little preview of the setup for chapter 2 of the game. Right  now the programming is mostly done its more about animating and set dressing. Still 15 levels for this  game(I may do a fourth chapter depends on time...), but it has a great deal more enemy interaction.  getting closer to the demo for 5$ patrons and beyond so that also in the works. All in all even under immense stress this will get done and be the second part in the series. 

The Kickstarter doesn't see...

The levels are more complicated....some of the  enemies are pursuant now so you have to find out how to get around them, defiantly a more complicated game. Anyway back to work, well break first then back to work :)

General dev Update 1/12/2021

Soooooooooooo, sorry I haven't posted the new poll yet been working on  Tentacle Slink: Pirates Booty, some new features and updates needed to be coded which hasn't left much time for rendering :(  but I shall be posting it shortly so be ready. If you guys have any suggestions or wants for the next poll let me know below. 

 Demo for this game should be up soon so stay tuned.

Tentacle Slink: Update-2!(Controls)

The most common critique about the game were the controls...not great. Sooo I did some tinkering and listening and came up with  this solution, contextual key directions this should fix said issue with the controls, I also made some rotations corrections that should help. let me know what you guys think down below. same link as always.
