Figured it out!

Finally. Figured out the textures. And the texture painting. And the bump mapping. And the lighting. And the goddang fiddly camera. And the rendering. And a hundred tiny little other things.

On top of that, I figured out how to give her decent hair, fixed the shoes, made lots of little tweaks, and now it is 2:30am and I am tired. But I figured the shit out and I feel like I'm finally getting a handle on Blender. Fantastic feeling.

The Wife of the Fallen One

This story is an homage to Many Waters by Madeline L’Engle.

“Did it hurt?”

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty year...

Spreading the word

Shala broke the news to her family, and as she predicted, they weren’t happy. Her mother held her head in her hands and moaned, while her father shouted, threw things, smashed pots and furniture. 2 of her younger siblings were struck dumb and horrified, while Shala stood there defiantly taking her father’s withering abuse. She did not shrink, nor take his barbs without giving a few in return. If she had eloped with anyone else, he would have been beating her bla...

Still fiddling away at this dang model. Got rid of the ball joints. Putting off the head because hair, as it turns out, sucks. Sucks a lot.

While I wait for the poll numbers to come in after my last story, I thought I'd laboriously (no pun intended) teach myself blender so I can make pose able models and do art more often, WIP of this thing that took me all freakin day to figure out how to do

True final boss

Grimora paced, naked, across the bathhouse floor, breathing in and out. A pair of minions followed her close with a pair of fans. As she passed by the fountain, she cupped her hands, drank from them, and splashed some water on her face and neck. She put her hands on her back, closed her eyes, and exhaled.

This was it. Labor. A throng of minions watched her move around the room with bated breath, waiting for the coming of their emperor. The contractions rolled in, o...

Boss fight

A frantic rapping at the door shook her out of her reverie. She growled. Never a moment’s peace!

“WHAT!?” she yelled at the door.

“Mistress!” cried the voice of Sneegleeves. “A th-thousand apologies! There are intruders in the Forest of Forgotten Souls, heading for the fortress!”

“Agh...fetch me a towel! Several towels!”

A long waddling down the hall later, and she stood by her crystal ball with Sneegleeves, staff in hand, wearing a n...

Brewing

It took 8 weekly injections before Grimora got sick and threw up into a bowl.

As she held back her hair and spat the rest of it out, she thought to herself: Ugh. Here we go then. The first step to ruling the world.

She summoned her whole imp army to her throne room, and she stood before them with Sneegleeves and Slobberjaw by her side.

“Minions!” she announced. “Listen up, all of you! I am here to tell you that...the potion has worked! I’m grow...

Update 7/14/25

Well, Patreon tells me that anything explicit has to be behind a paywall for some reason (even though it was already only available to members) which is why the Bride of Boreas one got hidden. Why they flagged that one, and not my first story where the main character gets railed by an entire forest of fantasy creatures is beyond me. Dang robots.

Anyway, I'll have as much outside the paywall as I can, and if you still want to read it, go to my DeviantArt or Pixiv where they don't complai...

The Discovery

Then came a timid knocking at her door. “Mistress! Are you decent?”

Grimora sighed with much less contentment. Of course. It could never last. She wrapped herself in a sheet.

“Never am, Sneegleeves. Enter.”

The door creaked open, and in shuffled Sneegleeves, a scrawny green imp about 3 feet tall, wearing an old cracked pair of glasses and an old brown shirt full of holes as a tunic. Of all Grimora's minions, he was the least useless.

“Ah! ...

Beyond the Swamps of Ruin, in the heart of the Forest of Forgotten Souls, rose up a sharp black mountain that made the last two places look pretty nice in comparison. No one dared climb it, or walk near it, or even look at it too long. Because inside that mountain, carved by devils into that evil and desolate rock, lay Grimora the Sorceress' Mountain Fortress of Power.

Or as she shortened it for people she was about to kill, the Sorceress Fortress.

Her magic ravaged the land and t...

Sorry, it goes against my nature to gate off my things, but I got to put something behind a paywall. If you want to see it, my first tier comes with 1 week free trial, so check it out and cancel if you want.

Sorry you can't see Bride of Boreas right now, for some reason it was flagged, even though it's only open to members, and the other story I have on here seems just fine. Trying to straighten that one out with Patreon.

In the meantime, you can also read it for free on DeviantArt and Pixiv.

I'm taking a real short break to get an avatar and banner drawn up, but after that, by popular demand, the evil sorceroress story! She wants to create an unbeatable warrior to help her conquer the world, but the spell says she has to carry it herself. Hinjinks ensue!

If that last story was a bit too long and serious for you, than this one will (probably) be much shorter and much more of a goof. Stay tuned!

The second wind

In half an hour, another contraction made her womb murmur back to life. The assistants shook the midwife awake, who slapped her cheeks and got back up to work. Penelope called down the trapdoor for an update. She got a flurry of oaths and yells in response. “Still not ready!”

The midwife peeked inside Choine’s hole while she groaned. An assistant took her baby off her chest and set him aside.

“Midwife…what do you see? Without the wind machine…I’...

The machine that fulfills destiny

Downstairs, Hylonome burst through the temple doors. “Call everyone back! The project team, the rowers, everybody! We this machine up and running, and we need it now!”

A lone acolyte rubbed his eyes. “Why”?

“Why?” She cantered right up to him and grabbed him by the front of his robes.

“Ah! What I say, what I say?”

“You said some stupid shit, that’s what you did, son! You ask me why, I tell you why! Because Cho...

The marathon

Boreas stayed by Choine’s side as she labored through the night. The early contractions where easy, easy enough to talk.

“Ah! At last, Boreas. They are coming. I’m afraid but...my desire to have them out of me outweighs my fear. It’s been...so long.”

Boreas rubbed her vast belly with his cool hands. “Indeed. I am so proud of you, dear one. This has been a labor worthy of Herakles. And you have borne it, with grace and courage, with many trials. Only ...
