I appreciate the ferocity with which yall decided to approach this poll, it was neck-and-neck the whole way through -- your vigilance is duly noted and I thank you so much for your support for both ideas, as well as all the other ideas on the previous poll! :D
In the end, as I stated on the tiebreaker itself: "If this results in another tie, I reserve the right to decide which of the two I will end up doing!" I didn't think I'd have to exercise this right but here we are, haha....

As I alluded a few days ago, my latest "programmer socks" TG comic took a much different direction earlier on, but I decided to redo it almost from scratch because it was a little too complex and overly complicated to depict as a short comic. Still feel like sharing my very very early cut of it just as a hint of what could have been, though!
