Enemies of Ancients - Ragas (201?-5)

You guys often heard from me worlds like "Ragas" and "Ancients' enemies" but I've never shown them. 

So here they are.

Most fearsome enemies that Ancients had deal with. Ones who destroyed Gkhalarers' home planet - Reagkhay - and ones who destroyed their own world as well as many others. 

Meet the Ragas - invaders and leeches of the known Universe.

They wiped out their females, so males are just born within metal wombs.

They made themselves gods alike.

Tladas: creature concepts (2015)

Hey guys, I just found some creatures that I made in the past for the Tladas!

Also, I added a tag for this planet so you'll be able to find works related to it much easier.

And here is old info for the top one:

"Short information: Yalja - it's an omnivore animal (but prefer eat more plant, than meat). They live on the edge of forests or near with big swamps. Females are red and bigger than males. Most of life they live alone. Lives in families about 15-20 human years, it's a time, ...

Root Spirit's little problem

Day 4 of Inktober.

I was thinking about 'spells' that could be found on territory of Forest Keepers' World, and this is what I found. A restless swamp trees. Overall idea still uncertain, yet I can say, that these trees were somehow polluted by swamps and lost their own Root Spirits (probably Spirits were eaten by those same swamps), and now they (the trees) looking for inattentive Spirits to catch them by force with the help of the muddy slime.

Roasted Forest Keeper

So... yes, it's time for Inktober.

Actually, it's the 3rd drawing already, yet previous two aren't related to any of my projects, so I don't include them in here (or should I?)

And yes, finally I have some thoughts and ideas about created... creature. 

You probably still can recall some memories about Forest and Beach Keepers, and creatures of Scorched Forest (aka Cursed Grove and Lands-Of-Ones-Who-Were-Betrayed), and this is something between them. Mostly this half-scorched K...

Actually, Ancients do like them (four sketches around the central one looks pretty close to what I was thinking of), and those things still can be found on their 'mothergarden' ships.

For now I have not much to say about them... My mind haunts an idea that they are probably all dead, because Ancients physically couldn't save all animals from their home planet while fleet of Rhags attacked it (and, what's most important, Ancients even couldn't save all of their own colonies from the planet's surface until it was too late to save anything else at all).

You probably remember this creature from early sketches, yet here it again. I do really love that idea about an Easter egg (like, versions of one creature for my two different worlds)

About: I think that they should have some collective power on the planet, so main idea for now is that they are like our ants, but build their nests above the ground on the highest points of terrain or at the middle of most thick frame plants, so that anyone couldn't reach them that simple.

Also, I still can't decide about queens, should they be mobile, or immobile... like, which is more interesting? Maybe immobile can broke into mobile? Ehh... it sounds o...

Here is one more variation of gkheedha (still in research for perfect form), and just as previous one this sketch was made for the artbook as well.

Back to: I really want to make them as alienish as I can, yet I feel like it's not enough and I need much more time to figure it out... maybe I'll change some parts in the future, especially regarding joints on wings I think. Yet I pretty satisfied with membrane of the wings, its overall form, soo... will see.

Also, I didn't mention before, but because of delay from side of a customer the deadline have been extended, so I'm still stuck within a work stuff.

And I need to draw faster... I just feel myself like a turtle lately, and when I try to rush I panic and can't finish anything, but when I try to do it slow, it almost looks fine... pff

About the planet: I've tried to make some new structures, but I feel as it all just don't fits ri...

Lately I've been thinking about purpose for which this planet can be used, and I stopped on a food source. I know it sounds a bit weird regarding growing rocks, yet there are more to it. Its soils are rich and fertile, and hold lots of spores for grow of a new edible plant formations, that can be found just everywhere on the surface and below (hope it makes any sense).
