Ive been thinking recently about making some major changes ro Kayla considering I'm feeling a somewhat stronger connection to him. Originally I made Kayla a C-boy because i thought it was "cool and different" but I look at it now and think otherwise..

I have no intentions of actually wishing I had a pussy of my own so theres this one huge disconnect from me and Kayla. I think I'm either going to permanently change Kayla to a cis male, or make him interchangeable, i gotta think about thi...

What's funny is these characters styles are completely different to eachother yet here they are together! 

I honestly cant wait to have all my characters lined up! I know I could have added Jade here too but I'm yet to have her set up with this shader. When I get started on Chloe I'll be sharing many WIP's for yall

Beach Kayla

Could you imagine seeing someone in this at the beach?! luckily no one is around!

I recently learned how to use "proxies" to help with shading the face better. What are proxies you may ask? A proxy is a simplified mesh to control the way light affects a certain part of the body. Here I've used a proxy mesh to simplify the shape of the head when hit with light. I may or may not keep it depending how it looks in other situations.

Here's a simple animation loop! I'm still figuring out this shader and seeing it's limitations.And damn viewport playback is quite slow so it's a little hard to animate anything crazy really just yet. I'm sure I'll figure out all the kinks eventually

Really loving how he looks now. I think I made the right decision going for a custom shader rather than realism. Now do I apply this shader to the rest of my models? Hmmm

Kayla model WIP new outfit, New shader!

You may remember a while back when I experimented with anime shading. As I wasnt super pleased with the workflow I eventually went back to the standard realistic lighting.

Though while exploring some 3D artists I got inspiration to try toon shading again and this time I think I've finally got something I like!

Svir VRChat commission - my Half complete

Hai all! Been working long and hard on this commission, my part is now complete!

model will be posted once rigged to sketchfab for better viewing <3 Last commission is finishing off Eiprils figure and my list will be complete! I will not be accepting any commissions for a while until I get a few personal things done. Mainly some Blender projects (Kayla, Ryla, Evangelyne)

Evangelyne V2 WIP

So I opened Evangelyne for the first time in a while and saw all the changes I could make flash right before my eyes. and so I'm spending time updating her model to suit my current skillset. I plan to add more detail to her season 2 outfit as well as remake her season 1 outfit. I may also add her season 2 hairstyle and face but we'll see! She will be available to download for all $10+ Patrons when she's done <3

Next in line (alongside commissions) will be finalizing Ryla and Kayla's ...

foot curl in Blender

I don't have any finished projects to show right now because I've been tackling a few things at once!

I spent some time fixing my Evangelyne model, experimenting with animating normal maps to give the illusion of a foot wrinkle! I think it turned out great! And Of course I will be using this same technique with my other characters as well, I just have to figure out how to make it look good on pawbs.

Eipril figure WIP

Progress! the first print is done, second is in progress. It's insane how fast this new resin printer is I mean.. 1 second per layer is crazy fast!

New printer, new possibilities!

I got my hands on a new resin 3D printer! this one is more than twice as large as my previous two smaller ones, this means I can Print my normal sized figures all in one go! BUT

It also means I can finally go larger! The max size for a standing figure that was possible on my small printers was around 30CM (standing) So times that by 2... that's HUGE. Of course I'll need more paint and resin to accommodate but paint has been a little difficult to get recently

I am not publicly open for figure commissions but I will make an exception for a select few! This is still a WIP so things may look a little distorted. I'm making this alongside a VRChat commission and a personal project. Lots to do!

Just thought I'd pose the full res renders here! I have a lot in mind for this model! I've been playing around with environments and lighting but I can't really make anything more just yet until I actually finish Kayla's full rig! 

Actually come to think of it I have never made a properly fully rendered artwork of any of my characters! I usually just go for a simple backdrop which does the job but I can make full artworks from my characters If I just put in the effort!

First partnered commission WIP

So my part is all done! I did quite a bit more sculpting than I usually do and I'm gonna continue to improve on it! 

Once my partner finishes his part I will post a posed version as well as upload it to Sketchfab for better viewing. Hopefully all goes well from here on! I have also started on my next one so the ball is rolling!
