Gravity gloves WIP

I've been working hard these past few days on these. This is quite a difficult challenge especially since I'm using copper plate for some parts. Almost all parts are printed and I just need to do the wires and finally painting. I was originally going to sew up my own gloves however I found some online that are very close to the ones in alyx. It shouldn't be too much longer until I have these finished though

Here's my second image of Chloe! you get to at least see more of her in this pic. I'm still working on a good outfit for her but I need something that screams adventure.

For those of you who you haven't seen this character yet, Chloe is a bull terrier and is my 4th anthro character along with Kayla, Ryla and Jade, all of which are based on different parts of my personality.. Since this character is based off my love for nature and adventure I was thinking of maybe some sort of scout out...

HELP WANTED

HELP WANTED. my next side project will be the Gravity Gloves from Half life Alyx. I was able to find one model online for the mechanical parts but the UV mapping was destroyed and the publisher never got back to me..

what I really need are the actual glove models + the mechanical components complete with their textures as well. there is a way of ripping these models and there are tutorials out there. I managed to get as far as getting the source files so you don't have to buy the game y...

Omniwrench prop (wip)

Here's a little side project I've been working on. I have revisited the Ratchet and clank series recently so I just had to bring this wrench to life again. In the photo with the 2 wrenches the left one is what I made when I was about 12 from cardboard. the new one is 3D printed and has been completely sanded (almost) I used the model from the game as a base while adding in all the detail myself, so this is almost perfectly accurate.

I will make a download available once this is complete...

Krystal Fox final WIP

She's almost done! I just have to polish up the weight painting and add her facial rig! I'm super excited how well she came out <3

I put off finishing this one for a while. It was originally going to just be the purple schoolgirl inkling from smash so I scrapped that idea. I played around with some blur to get a better feeling of depth.

Roadmap

Squid boy Kayla (Inkling)

So this was a super fun experiment! I feel like I should keep this design as a separate character, Kind of like a reincarnation of Kayla. I did have to change the hair colour slightly as Black and red looked really odd. I took much inspiration from various Splatoon art which really helped with this. I have so many more personal artworks on the way! Though Most of them will be cell shaded like this one to save on time.

UWUNO almost ready

I've decided I'll be giving out these decks away for free to you guys! It'll be after Christmas though as I have a lot to prepare this week and then will be going away for Christmas and New year's.

UWUNO cards and update

So I'm in the process of making the first 10 batches of cards! I spent quite a bit of money getting them done at Officeworks! I found some real nice gloss paper for laser printers which so far has solved the issue with friction! The only downside is that getting them printed there costs a lot more than doing them myself. I will further experiment with more inkjet card stock types as I go.

UWUNO first deck

Here they are! My first batch is ready for testing!
Now I have already come across one issue which is that shuffling is basically impossible with these cards due to the photo paper I used.. unfortunately there is no Smooth sliding card stock available for inkjet printers. So I'll have the next batch printed at Officeworks where they use laser printers. Since I know they can basically print on anything.
I'm totally down to making these something to sell! Maybe I can do some early shipme...

Phew I actually spent maybe a bit too much time with the sketch on this one but it was totally worth it! I'm  finding I'm getting better when it comes to fitting characters into backgrounds with lighting and all!
