Jade Figure WIP

So my pc actually struggled super hard with this, since I had to subdivide the mesh 5 times in order to displace the geometry. So you could probably imagine the wait of decimating 10 Million tris.... I got there in the end though! I just started printing her and I'll be back with more photos soon

Jade figure posing

Here's my poses for the first new Jade figure! which do you like best? I'm starting out simple so I can get an idea of how I'm going to tackle her markings and details. If I find it too difficult I can always remove her suit ;)

Sammy commission

This was the final commission on the list completed! This was an advanced rig commission and experimented with alternative fur texturing Which I will be using on my future works.

Now that commissions are over I will be starting on the Jade figure!

Oculus medium timelapse- Tima (early upload)

In case you're curious how I sculpt in VR I made a timelapse. Next character I want to sculpt is most likely Dan from Medievil. I usually stick to medium for making characters that I won't or don't plan to animate. Which is why I'm on the fence about sculpting characters such as Krystal, Renamon or someone I plan to properly 3D model for animation in the future.

Jade animation

Welp here's the first animation of the new Jade! It was just something quick I did last night from a short burst of inspiration from a particular gif I found. now if I want to upload this one to sketchfab I won't be able to import the facial animation unless I rework her whole face rig.. which I really don't want to do..

Gamer paws

I have to say it's great to have a break to draw Kayla again, I really enjoy drawing him in different situations from different angles and it's really refreshing having drawn Kayla again. This is located in my living room from my old place. Aaah lots of fond memories from this couch.

Jade renders

She's done! kinda. I have been doing some animations for sketchfab but have ran into a problem which prevents me from importing her facial expressions! I may have to completely redo her face-rig using bone deformations instead of shape-key drivers unfortunately.. I will get around to that eventually. In the meantime I have been working hard on my commissions!

Gamer Paws sketch WIP

I'm now officially living on my own! I've been doing heaps of sorting and organising of furniture and other things. I'm also making a home cinema kinda thing! so stay tuned... 

Been pretty desperate to do some drawing as well with all this 3D modelling I've been doing but trust me it will be worth is.. so I thought I would draw Kayla's beans! I'm defs gonna finish this one up between commissions <3

Sketchfab VR animations

So I've been talking to a few people and getting some ideas. Firstly If you don't know what sketchfab is it's basically a service where you can upload 3D models, scenes and animations in a web browser or mobile and view them in full 3D (including VR!)

Jade model update

I finished the materials and textures! I also started rigging. all that's left to do now is her outfit and a facerig! Yes you heard me. I'll be tackling the fundamentals of what it takes to make a proper facerig this time. Let me know what you think!

In other news I'll be moving out on Friday! I'm hoping to have Jade done before then and don't worry I'll have plenty of commission slots available once I'm settled in!

Shantae FREE 3D printable files download

Jade 3D model redesign WIP + update

I've finally started on the new Jade model! I made sure this time I properly studied topology and edgeflow quite a bit more to get the best results with posing and animating. So far I'm liking the results! And I gave her an actual jawset instead of small cones as I did in the last model XD I also made sure her claws and pawpads are all part of the same mesh to make life easier for me when animating and 3D printing.  Next step is texturing! the hardest part is going to be the robotic seam...

Character showcase WIP

So My break from commissions has been quite good, giving me time to concentrate and develop my future plans and ideas for when I move out.

Well I felt inspired to do a little thing to solidify the foundation for my chatacters seeing them side by side. I hope I get the time to finish this as I feel this is quite important. Now it may be too early to ask but who is your favourite?

So I kinda recently watched Hazbin hotel and fell DEEP in love with angel Dust. So of course I just had to make a model of him! This was probably one of my quickest models I've ever made. From start to finish in under a day! I will be releasing a more advanced rig version in Blender form for those who wish to animate him <3

BIG Shantae figure

So I have a litre of skin tone resin that I've had for a while to save for human figures! This way I avoid having to paint or even sand her skin. All I have to do is airbrush slightly darker shades around certain areas. This model is not mine! I will post links to original plus show off the renders I made in another post ❤️ I probably wont finish this until I have more important things sorted but the printers have done their part 👌🏿

One wheel (smol Animation and update)

I usually take a break from commissions on the weekend to plan out my next ideas and such!  I had a sudden burst of inspiration to make a small animation and render, I made the textures better suited to the cell shaded style.

 So I got my paws on a one wheel! My old form of transport to get around were scooters. Like old rusty ones I found in alleyways, I have 7 all up now... it's bad. Now that I have a one wheel It makes getting groceries, eating lunch and getting out and abo...
