Changes in Shading (+cyberjoelWIP)

So it turns out recording things is very useful. when Tsaiwolf did his panel at HCFC I managed to record most of what he did. Honestly it blew my mind that it was even possible to draw as fast as he did so i learned how.

My old technique was to do the base colours, make cell shading layers above each different colour, then blend those cell shade layers and finally airbrush. this was how I did my shading ever since I started LOL but it turns out a better way to do it is as follows

Playstation Keychains

So I was a little inspired by someone who did something similar to this. when I make an Etsy this will be something I will put on there! Was even thinking of doing custom ones such as making some furry art in the form of a PS1 styled disc! let me know if that is something you wanna see and ill try experimenting more. BTW speaking of experimenting I will soon post some progress photos of the pawsocks I'm testing out currently! excitement <3

Having be on the day before the convention when i finished this I only remembered now to post this! Commission for linebreaker on FA. I feel like I finally nailed the socked paw look! very happy with it ❤️

Spyro WIP1 prints

Parts are coming in quick, this is just 2 prints! whats cool about DLP printers is that the only thing that makes the print time longer is the height, since each layer is cured at once! this means it wont take longer if you want to print multiple parts at once. 

BTW I'm going to HCFC a local furcon on Friday so ill be back after the weekend!

Jade VR chat WIP

Did you notice shes only 6 and a half thousand tris? this is the fully optimised for VR chat on the Oculus quest! getting a character below 7000 tris is not easy to do at all. since the Oculus quest runs on a mobile processor this is the poly count required for all avatars.

all I have to do now is play VR chat more until I get experience or something? because unity doesn't want me to make my own avatar until i've played VR chat enough LOL. That of course for me is not easy to do haha..<...

Paw Sock ideas

YES I am finally doing it. experimenting with different and more efficient ways to make these paw pads! so here there's 2 different versions. if I can get my idea to work then I will do some more versions! The plan is to 3D print these with flexible filament and then make templates that make it easy to attach to the sock.

Loving how this sexy gal is coming out! all to do now is make it into parts for printing. hmmm not sure to make it normal size or go a little bigger....  printing her small requires a lot less work but making her big will require loads of sanding since I wouldn't be using the resin printer for big stuff.
