my love for this bird is undying and everlasting

I have ONE more Aza wip after this I'll share later, I finally got one thing fully rendered and ready for y'all tomorrow morning <3 and after that I'll consistently be finishing up more

Warcrime Bird Process + PSD

Finally another PSD for y'all!

Funnily enough the final composition just spontaneously came about during the RENDERING and not the sketch phase lmao. Things clicked and found myself preferring it more over what the sketch shows.

Human Stylization Practice

Wanting to rework how I draw my human OCs, and it turns out removing their noses/making them less defined makes the process feel a lil more dynamic and makes them feel more in line with the bird characters they coexist with.

I also thought about how I don't draw nostrils on my birds' beaks and applied a similar logic to the human folk sorta 

The old man in the top right is not an existing character I just made him up for this practice session LOL

Aza is capable of destroying a punching bag with a well-primed kick. Dee has scolded her about this on multiple occasions, but Aza just can't help but show off!

Expecting to wrap up Comms on the 15th or 16th!!

Turns out I got very invested in working on comms lol, but the good news is I'll be done relatively soon thanks to the reduced slot count. I am expecting to have 3 full weeks to get back to cooking for y'all before Comms open again in February

Also expecting to work out an approximate agenda for how much exactly I should be doing for patreon (as far as exclusives go) vs how much I should be making for The Public (tm), but at the same time i really wanna let loose LOL

Apologies for the lull in activity!

The good news is I'm approaching the phase of commissions where it'll be easier to find time to get some doodles done for this place. The sketch phase is usually pretty unpredictable, but linearting is usually easier to pace and go through consistently, and therefore easier to find free time.

Initially I was shooting for a pose where her knees touched the floor, but kinda felt there was more to fulfill from making her do a lil squat instead; drives home her Deviousness more that way. You can kinda make out the remnants of the original idea in the first iteration.

NEW YEARS

It's been a wacky one. I would never think within a million years during January that I'd end up in this position, but SOMETIMES this cruel unforgiving universe is generous. Looking forward to an exciting 2024. Yknow, aside from the world falling apart every waking second. What matters is that we stay alive and never forget to have a lil chuckle every once in a while. 

We also passed One Month since Opening

Same as when one week passed, I'd like to know if y'all have anything to suggest/critique for things I should keep up and do better going forward! Especially if it seems I'm falling short on promises.
