I don't know what exactly I did different with this page but honestly? it's gorgeous. I'm so pleased with the colours, the middle splash really pops. "Archipelago" is going to be a menace to fit into speech bubbles, I hope they don't need to say it often.

I'm back from my holidays! Finished up one of my commissions today to get back into the swing of things.

I've had a super busy week prepping for/visiting London MCM so to get back into drawing after the event I finished up the shading and lettering on this Lavender page! I've also done the colours on page 13 so that'll be done soon as well.

I'm technically still on holiday rn until the 4th, while my boyfriend is staying over, so I'll be back to the grind soon!

Nightcrawlers Pg 01

Finished up the first page of Nightcrawlers as a style test! Half of this chapter is set at night time so i wanted to figure out how i'm going to approach the lighting and colours - and a less refined lineart/shading style than i use for Laid in Lavender so I can save time there too.

I'm not planning on doing regular updates on this comic yet, not until MCM is over and I've got a little more time and less stress. But please, enjoy this hook!

Okay! To save myself a ton of hassle later I'm formatting pages before I draw everything to the wrong dimensions. Nightcrawlers is intended for print later, so I have here two different page sizes.

On the left is A5, you're familiar with that. On the right is the UK "standard" comic size. Please, let me know which dimensions you'd think looks better! I'm at a standstill here :'D

Actors AU - Season Premiere

I looked at a ton of premiere/red carpet interview stills and somehow the lighting completely baffles me even still. Even so, I'm pleased with this. Dorian looks so stylish with his hair pushed back, I'm definitely gonna keep it in mind over later chapters as the gang's appearances develop. (As nice as Basil looks with short hair, he'll never cut it in canon!)

Anyway I'm so sorry I haven't done many sketches recently, I've had a lot of ongoing bigger projects and commissions on my plate and I've been chipping at those instead of busting out lots of small things.
