I love these small silly illustrations because they let me experiment a bit with tools and colour palettes. I tend to be quite dark in my work which makes the whole thing heavy for good or for bad, but I chose light pastel colours this time to give more presence to the lineart (I had fun working with a new Japanese brush pen and I was happy with the result!).

For this WIP post, I wanted to share the rejected sketch I did for this illustration, with the usual steps.
Normally I don't pay that much attention to sketches, but in this case, I was aware that I wasn't loving the composition and the poses that much, and at the same time who doesn't like a gangbang scene?
