Armsman bringing the threat!

After finally getting him to stop trying to swim through the sand, we ended up with a pretty good one!

Another clip... for science!

We tried to get a voice-over that matched the scene but gave up since the free voices we could find were... really bad. Also, stop touching your hair! Another couple years and these are going to be really good. For now, the results are pretty random.

Martial Messiah Mel clip just for fun!

This one had me rolling. I tried really hard to get her to just stick around and be kinda normal. Nope! So this is what we get. Good for a laugh and she's still pretty so whatever!

D.G. - Chapter 266 - A TWO-SIDED MYSTERY

Jiran's full-body, aura resistant suit did little to protect him from the intense desert heat. The sweltering environment pressed against the cloth, warming his skin to the point he was immediately sweating. The material was thin enough he could see through the full face mask with only a little distortion. Still, he felt incredibly blind with his aura trapped inside his body. It was better than instantly being discovered by someone beyond his ability to handle.

While his mana alon...

D.G. - Chapter 265 - RETURN TO THE UNKNOWN

The moment Jiran vanished through the hole in reality, Mayalyn turned to Olive, “Do it. Now.”

“Right here? Are you s—”

Mayalyn nodded vigorously, “Yes. Please. I know what I was doing wrong. I will not be long. Besides, our Aajiran will need more time to complete his task than he believes.” Seeing Olive's confused frown, Mayalyn gave her a secretive smile, “What? He always takes longer than he believes.”

“Oh. Okay. Well then, here we go.” Olive waited f...

D.G. - Chapter 264 - PERFECTION

Hold on, the mana inside that ship was emperor tier. I could max out my Growth in no time! Okay, new highest priority is bringing that ship back.

Brimming with motivation, Jiran took to the skies. He raced in the last direction he'd seen Ardon, intending to bid him farewell before leaving. Jiran had no idea if there was a protocol nobles followed when parting, but figured it wouldn't be necessary since being a ‘country bumpkin’ hadn't stopped him from forming good relations...

MM - Chapter 92 - THE FIRST LAW

Celeste Luu Rahn

Celeste wasn’t entirely sold on Raine’s choices in friends. They all seemed nice enough, and a few were surprisingly competent. However, only Fizgore was obviously born into wealth, which made it difficult for her to want to connect with them. Overcoming a lifetime of ‘elite’ social programming wasn’t simple. Her time with Mel was helping, and at least she was making an effort. Not to earn brownie points with Raine or some stupid...

MM - Chapter 91 - POWERLEVELING

Raine swung open the door cleverly tucked within a recess of the keep’s curved wall. Inside was a sprawling staging area with enough space for hundreds of Vaaterrans. More than fifty of them were already gathered, separated into small groups of fifteen. They eyed Raine’s group wearing frowns rank with surprised disapproval.

“How could they hope to survive with their levels?”

“Are they out of their minds?”

“The Travelers are clearly mocking us!”

The Vaat...

MM - Chapter 90 - GERONIMO

The group marched at a brisk pace, ascending the steep, zigzag path higher and higher. Vile Peak Town grew ever more distant behind them, and early evening winds brought just a touch of warmth to the frigid mountain air. Raine didn’t allow the group to fight the rock golems that consistently rumbled to life at their approach. Swapping to his Rock Crusher title, he made short work of them.

The Superiority they would provide was too little to be worth the time. Where they were headed wa...

Damian Tafell

Damian relaxed into his comfortable chair with a pleased sigh. Another sip of his cocktail filled his mouth with a refreshing, fizzy flavor that was entirely unique to ZionLine. In his humble opinion, the designers were geniuses. How they found new ways to trigger the pleasure centers of the brain was beyond him, but he was here for it.

In every other regard, the inn he found in the commoners district was far below his standards...

Melani Feladay

Mel couldn’t tear her eyes away from Raine. His scolding voice kept repeating in her head, reminding her to be aware of her surroundings but it was no use. Even breathing was hard and her vision continued to tunnel, focused entirely on the blue sheen outlining his muscled body. The bright coloration only barely allowed her to keep sight of his blindingly quick movements. He was a god of death, a meat-grinder without remorse or hesi...

Talerra Tafell - Scion of the Everlasting Phoenix Clan

Talerra’s battleaxe bit deeply into the tough, scaly hide of the beast before her. It shrieked, open mouth launching a ball of sizzling venom at her face. She ducked and slid to the side, spinning fluidly to yank her weapon free. Her axe came around again, striking an instant after her teammate’s Fire Lance melted a small section of scales. By striking the same spot be...

MM - Chapter 86 - THE MARTIAL PATH

The army of players parted, revealing the road leading deeper into the mountains. Each soldier wore nearly-matching, golden-dyed armor. The few out of place pieces of equipment held a shimmering blue lustre, and there were hundreds of them. Whether it be cloth, leather, or plate, the materials, time, and effort required to acquire and craft so many matching sets couldn't be underestimated.

Levels and gear aside, each member of Rising Endlessly held themselves with poise befitting ...

MM - Chapter 85 - BLOOD RED CARPET

Knowing Richtor’s crew would doubt him to the moon and back, Raine shared his new Ncode with each of them. When their interfaces pinged with a friend request from none other than the Alaric from the system messages, they were left speechless.

Kevinsbakon—a once mighty, musclebound warrior now reduced to a lanky skin-and-bones nerd—was the first to regain his footing and mumble a response, “I-I read that it's not possible to share a name. Y-you’re the real deal. We were right...

MM - Chapter 84 - KNOW MY NAME

After leaving Pamalaiha's lab, Raine sent Celeste on her way so she could make it back in time to log in with the rest of the group. He sent for a robotaxi, then rapid-fired messages to the Soulgen board of directors along the lines of: We’re making changes, and you’re not going to raise a fuss if you know what's good for you.

The last thing Raine wanted the shareholders to feel was comfortable and happy with his leadership. Optimally, they would grow furious with him and sell...

MM - Chapter 83 - TO DICTATE A DOCTOR

Dr. Pamalaiha Shraufand stood stunned for only a moment at the mention of the product name she had yet to reveal to anyone. Despite her usually silent demeanor, she opened her mouth to ask how he could possibly know, “Wha—”

“Rahh!” Celeste roared and kicked off the wall behind her. She hurtled directly toward the doctor, her leg primed for a dangerous roundhouse. The mysterious doctor crouched, eyes narrowing as she carefully tracked Celeste's progress through the air. A hand ...

C’mon Celeste, you got this.

Encouraged by Raine’s thoughts, and the confident glow in his expression, Celeste turned on Ehrhardt, “You say I’ve got no reason to be here? You know exactly how much my family has invested into your research and staff. How dare you speak to me that way. I’m glad you called the corpus already, saves me the trouble of reporting the criminal beating of your non-martial employee.”

MM - Chapter 81 - A DELECTABLE SIDEQUEST

Celeste’s stomach gurgled again, louder than last time. She used it as an excuse to mask her embarrassment. Sitting back in her chair, she looked out the window with flushed cheeks. Raine tapped at the car’s interface, changing their destination. Glancing at the AR map displayed between the front seats and center console, she curled an eyebrow, but didn’t say anything.

MM - Chapter 80 - A PRICELESS TOOL

The final test was both the easiest and hardest. There was nothing complex or inherently challenging about it. Neither was there a score. A person either had the requisite flexibility in their muscles and joints, or they were ripped apart. Hence the third test’s moniker: The Wringer.

The mayor didn’t need a reminder this time, and already had the device prepped before Raine finished the speed test. He positioned himself between two, three-meter-thick panels of seemingly-solid metal....

“It’s not that big a deal,” Raine pulled a hand out of his pocket to wave off Celeste’s concern. Stepping to the side, he waited for Bron to enter and lead the way.

New Release Schedule

With my motivation back and in full swing, I've got a few options on how to proceed with future releases. As of now, I'm able to write a full chapter almost every day. How I structure that time is a bit up in the air.

Being deeply in love with both stories, its hard to know which to write and when. I can't promise to follow the majority opinion of this poll, but I still want to know what you want more of.

A full week implies 5-7 chapters.

I was going to tack these changes onto the end of the next chapter, but it’s gotten too long so here they are:

Nascent attributes: are those given at avatar creation, and are increased with real world fitness.

Baseline attributes: includes nascent, level-up gains, weapon attunement rewards, and ...
