The gesture from the last snapshot can now be used as a taunt to get the wolf's attention. A transition from quad to sitting states has been added to the wolf, with the full chain of states displayed in this video.

Added a new, somewhat-more-realistic devouring animation that transitions directly into a new quadruped state. Both four and two-legged wolf characters have their own unique benefits, so instead of choosing, I made one that could be both!

It was a productive week! Probably because I was able to focus mostly on animating this time and didn't have to write much code.
I made another incidental animation for the default state and made an entire new sitting state with transitions to and from it. Incidentals for sitting soon to come.

Made a proper digestion animation. Also got a chance to play with cloth physics a little bit, looking forward to redoing the characters' clothes in the future.
Still having trouble with the belly size flickering for one frame between animations; it's proving to be a tricky bug to stomp.

People were asking about health and digestion, so I decided to work on them next. The health bar follows the movement of the belly!
There's a couple parts of these features I still need to iron out. The digestion "animation" is just a placeholder for the moment, will put more work into it. I've already got a fun idea.

Kicking has now been added to the rabbit's fight for escape from the wolf's stomach. I even managed to make a rudimentary procedural jiggle bone for the belly, which I feel really good about.

Semi-proper physics! Good enough for now. Now you can jump around to your heart's content, as every bunny should.
Wolf has a stuffed walking animation and will walk around a bit, unfortunately tends to walk into invisible walls right now. With the better physics, bunny now properly fires out of wolf's mouth on release.

Since my last update, I've added IK support for my wolf rig and had to redo all the existing animations. This really messed up my momentum and motivation, but now I'm finally caught back up again and am looking forward to returning to regular updates.

Player-controlled struggles! Also, the camera attaches to the wolf after consuming, so you can get a much better look at him now.
There's still a bit more work that needs to be done on this part, but the basics are there now.

It took probably a week of digging and trial and error, but I finally implemented interactions between characters, a very important part of this game. Also, a character animation queue and chasing/attacking AI.
Next step is finally the fun part: experimenting with bulges.

I had stuff going on this weekend so I wasn't able to do much work on the game, but I did implement a rudimentary lock-on system. I'm trying to stay focused only working on absolutely necessary parts right now, but this ended up being relatively easy to implement.
