Time for new artworks you will be able to unlock by exploring Stratum I!
I'm currently working on the village and it's looking comfier and comfier! With this CG we'll be able to give Neneko an introduction to the kobolds' daily life in the Hole, before we begin on their portraits and on something friskier...

Finally dealt with the main point I wanted to address on the gameplay side of the deal, before getting a new build to you guys~

The new hit detection script is 100% accurate, and that only required a handful of lines.
If the collider area of an enemy/object (ABCD polygon) equals the area of the 4 triangles around the hit point (X), the attack connects.
Control sticks!
Looks much cleaner and plays much smoother! Movement controls on the left, camera controls on the right!
The only thing it needs now is the Dash toggle and adjusting the videos (WEBM for the Windows build) to play on Android.

Pretty satisfied with it and I can make certain animations being harder to CLIMAX! Could go with the monster strength, but could also get influenced by pieces of equipment / Neneko status!
Now... embellishments~
We'll be adding a cool frame to the animation window and I'd like the HUD to be worked on professionally too!

It's finally complete, and I can get to testing it inside the game with the first bunch of lucky slimes!
The next build will go live as soon as I'm done with it and with the first scene introducing Ruina and the dwarves! Wait for it~

The Caldera Shrine is progressing nicely!
I've already worked on most of the puzzles and the place looks real cool, with tubes whirring all around it, moving platforms, and adorable new monsters (🔩 NutsBolts) that will grow around the place and fight using precious dwarven metal.
Go ahead and try hitting them with 🔥FIRE🔥! They'll get pretty hot and angry and it will suck.
But not as much as dealing with the 🐍 ...

Let's get into it! We have our own idea regarding how to deal with these cute monsters.
In Nekohole there will be some natural races for our characters, which are also supposed to exist far from the Hole, or that evolved in the span of decades/centuries to reach their current state.
... and then there are curses/mutations that the Hole's energy ...

Working on a new dungeon right now, taking place inside the dwarven Fortress! Needless to say, lava works isn't the safer field there is, even less so if there are monsters that try to drag you in while you're just trying to do your daily work!
"Queen" Ruina may need some help with what's happening down there... if you think you can trust her.

Currently working on ⚡️Elemental system⚡️ with new attributes for enemies and Neko attacks, "native" resistances for some monsters and pieces of equipment granting damage reductions against some elements!
Expect the first build using this new system in the next few days, which could be tomorrow, I want to run more tests, and there are more optimizations/bugfixes/items incoming!

We got a basic loop going for the first animation of Nekohole! Compared to the Lures which are shown in a square frame, the sex scenes will be made in 16:9! So cinematic!
Where's the tail?!

We're aiming for top-tier quality with animations and artworks, thanks to your support! I can't wait to have this piece ready. In the meantime, check the Melmos/Sludgos under Kaere's place, those are the ones that can get weakened and then finished with this animation!

These being just 1/2 of the new original sprites the Lilis are getting, together with their new portraits, show how much love I'm willing to give to these little creatures. The same will happen with Dwarves, then with every other NPC race that will fill the Hole!
It's a bunch of work, but someone got to do it!
Getting it done before we go back working on Black Cat, then I'll likely pack them all up in a new build and let you have some fun!

She'll show everything to Neneko, and while I think in the final version of the game she will appear on Act II, I'll make sure she can be met early on while the game is in its Early Access...
